I've got some strong feelings concerning Duluth Import Company -- none of them positive. I would feel fairly neutral if it wasn't for the way they restrict reviews on their website. I have already decided to never purchase a product from them again. But now I will speak to anyone with a functioning ear... until I learn ASL, then I'll tell anyone who has eyes.
I like to support local when and where I can. I understand this usually means paying a bit of a mark up, but that's okay. I can take it on the chin. But when I pay a mark up for a sub-par product, I become peeved. I get outright angry when I leave a constructive review of that product on the website and it is censored by the shop. If you stood by your product, you would allow all reviews - the good and the bad. I simply cannot support a company that cherry picks their reviews.
Stated simply enough - if you want to spend your money on a product made outside of America that will last longer than Duluth Import Companies pants, buy 4 pair from Walmart for the same price as one from here and wear them for more than a year before they become patches for a pair of Fire Hose pants.
Every pair of pant I have owned has failed within a year of purchase. Right in their super tough reinforced crouch gusset. Within a month of use, any Velcro closure has nearly ripped clean off. Save your money, this...

The order tracking system has been showing a "temporarily unavailable" message for the past five days, and despite daily attempts to reach customer service via chat, Iāve either been timed out or faced with a chat system that logs me out unless I continuously confirm my status. This has been frustrating, to say the least.
Over the past eight days, Iāve sent multiple emails and have been promised responses within 4 days each time. I have received no follow-up. Iāve also tried calling every other day, only to be told by an automated message that wait times exceed an hour.
This is completely unacceptable. Iāve paid for my order, but Iāve received no updates, no resolutions, and no product. Duluth Trading Companyās lack of customer service and disregard for my time is incredibly frustrating. I recently bought several pairs of merino wool socks from this company because of the "No Bull Guarantee", after two months of average wear the socks have worn holes in them. Very happy I bought these socks at 50% off, because for a $30 pair of socks to last two months is Complete Bull, just like their warranty.. Anyway I Brought them in to have them warrantied and was given a gift card so I can purchase more subpar quality items from them. It's kind of hilarious how helpful the manager was when I was willing to spend hundreds of dollars with them but as soon as I had a problem with an item, the same exact manager's attitude completely changed and made me out to be a liar. I do believe the only reason I was given a gift card is because after the manager looked up my account she could see that I in fact was not lying about the age of the socks and probably felt like a buffoon in front of her employee.
These products are not for folks who work and therefore I will not recommend them to...
