During my visit, I attempted to redeem three pastry coupons that I had earned through your promotion, wherein I received a coupon for each $40 spent (I had 5 coupons total, only decided to use 3 since we were 3 guests). The selected items included the sausage bread, a pack of milk rolls (5-6 mini rolls), and a fruit croissant with four toppings, all in accordance with the terms of use outlined in the app. Notably, the terms specified no restrictions on the number of coupons that could be used, apart from the exclusion of baguettes or loaves of bread.
Unfortunately, upon presenting the coupons at the Duluth location, I encountered several issues. The cashier, a young Korean man, informed me that I could only use one coupon per every 12 hours, a rule not mentioned in the app. Additionally, he denied the redemption of the coupon for the milk rolls, stating they were ineligible, despite not being baguettes or loaves of bread. I also attempted to use a birthday drink voucher, which was similarly refused without valid grounds.
This experience deeply upset my family and me, especially considering the lack of clarity in the app's terms and the inconsistent application of rules between locations. Notably, during a subsequent visit to your Atlanta, GA location, I received entirely different and more accommodating service, which further highlighted the disparities between stores.
I asked the PB Atlanta cashier the same questions I asked in the Duluth location. The staff said I could use any coupons anytime as long as it is a different transaction. He even offered to make it multiple transactions if we meant to use more than one (which we did not). Also, I asked him if the free pastry coupon applies to the same 5-6 counts milk rolls that I tried to redeem at the Duluth location, the staff said I could use it for that type of bread because it is not a baguette or a loaf of bread.
I have been a loyal customer, consistently earning these coupons and my loyalty is evident in my transaction history within the Paris Baguette app. I am disheartened by this experience and perceive it as a form of discrimination due to the inconsistent treatment based...
Read moreThis is a cute little place to come sit with friends. There is a nice selection of things to snack on and good drinks and lots of places to sit. Unfortunately, that is where the nice part of my review ends.
The selection of baked items and sandwiches is limited to what time you arrive in the day as they only have an allotment of items per day, once an item is gone they do not make more. The case for some of these items is refrigerated but other items with cheese and cooked meat are all just left out on shelves unrefrigerated for hours on end.
When you walk in it always smells freshly mopped but no one cleans the tables. Not once have I come in and not had to get napkins to wipe crumbs and spilled drinks off a table before I can sit down. Yet the employees behind the counter have more than enough time to stand together and stare at their phones when there are no customers at the register.
They also appear to be anti-computer. They have WiFi but if you come in to sit and work on your computer you are limited to your computer’s battery life as there are no plugs. There is one single outlet by a window with a tiny table that is not big enough for a computer and papers at the same time and it is just a single plug, the other half is used for the open sign. On top of the lack of power outlets, the WiFi also blocks a ridiculous amount of websites. Review websites (trip advisor, yelp), shopping websites (Amazon, Best Buy, etc), travel websites, automotive websites, and even restaurant websites including their own are all blocked. Back in the early days of WiFi, it was not uncommon to encounter a public WiFi that blocked high bandwidth usage sites like Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu (they block these too) but with more availability of faster connections you don’t see that much anymore. Makes doing anything online other than scrolling Facebook almost impossible since you can google something but the chances of the website you need being blocked is...
Read moreI love visiting this place! Easily my favorite cafe in this entire area. No one comes close to the taste of these light yet flavorful assortment of cakes and pastries. They are not only delicious, but works of art!! The seating area is spacious and clean. I come here with my husband all the time. I think this place is a nice spot to read a book or conduct some business for those of us who work remotely. I recommend this cafe to everyone, it deserves more than a five star rating.
It is extremely unfortunate that I have to edit my review. The above review is from five months ago. During this time I have bought numerous cakes here. The cakes are still great; however, the customer service makes this place unbearable. On two separate occasions I was given smaller chocolate cakes than the ones I originally ordered. The first time around I caught it in the store. This time these two cakes were additions to Christmas Eve dinner at my friend's house. I am 40 miles away from their store. Upon calling Baguette and speaking with the manager, I was informed that I need to bring back the wrong cake in order to exchange it for the one I paid for and ordered days ago. I can't even begin to say how mad and disappointed I am. I sent all my friends and family here and I honestly regret doing that. I am not ordering anything from here ever again.
If you don't mind going home with the wrong cake, instead of the one you paid for, every time that you place an order, then go ahead. If you would like to get what you paid for, and a management that strives to correct their mistake within reasonable means, then this place is not for you.
Also, they don't accept $100.00 bills, legal tender issues by the US reserve. I tried not to pay attention to the awful service, but this was...
