Sound of Music Karaoke Restaurant — Restaurant in Duluth

I've been here with friends 3 times now. Honestly, this place is really old and outdated, both in terms of aesthetic and technology. Plus they allow smoking in all rooms so for nonsmokers - it smells trashy but even worse, some rooms are really dirty inside. There were stains on the couches in both rooms that we occupied and our tables were sticky from poor cleaning. The wait staff kept getting our food orders wrong and they never brought us our last 2 pitchers of beer, so they just deducted it from our bill later. The guy at the register on Friday kept hitting on other guys at the checkout and made it really awkward for customers to close their tab. He took too long with each transaction and really brought this rating down to a 1. Head over to Luxor Karaoke off Pleasant Hill in Duluth instead, or check out Echo Karaoke in Suwanee. The staff is both friendly and professional at both those locations (they speak Korean AND English). Plus both those establishments are up-to-date, provide a better music selection, is well kept and clean. There is a reason why Sound of Music is always dead on Fridays...

The guy at the front working on 11/27 was extremely rude. Said he couldn’t take anymore people because he wanted to be out by 130 even though they close at 2. I clearly called to make a reservation and he stated we close at 2am and our party of 8 people couldn’t be seated because he wanted to leave early. Good to know he turned down money to leave early. When asked for his name he said it didn’t matter. Good to know he lost money for the business and I definitely won’t be recommending...

I only comes here cus of my friend works here in karaoke but going to the bar side...no thanks...they will drink all ur beer and make u pay more and plus extra tips...don't want to be here and plus when ur partner sitting next to u....not worth it cus sitting next to me for short time and they want more tip money...wow...never come back here for...
