Dinners with Dad, Lunch Edition, episode 888 with the Fantastic Four! We had a banner day…of course everyone was missed (David, Neeley, Olivia, Haelee, Taelor) but we were riding out with the four who moved to the other side of the world back in 1978! Jeanie and I hadn’t been to Han Bat over by Gwinnett Place Mall but we will definitely be back! It was almost empty when we got there but by the time we left almost every table was full! We had Galbi-Tang, and it was absolutely incredible. Despite trying this dish at over ten Korean restaurants across the U.S., I’ve never had one this good. The soup was packed with a generous amount of tender meat, and the broth had a deep, natural richness that tasted like it had been simmering for hours.

We visited during peak hours, so there was a bit of a wait—but it was more than worth it. The staff were not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly generous, making the experience even better.

We love HanBat so much we came to eat three times this month! The food is as close to LA Ktown and everyone is correct about their Banchan. We’ve tried the galbitang, seollangtang, and yukgaejang so far and they are all very delicious! All the ladies were so nice and prompt with their service. I hope they get more business so they can stay forever! The parking lot seems kind of empty during lunch hours, hopefully that changes soon!...
