First time dropping by here in ATL since my family and I were in the mood for matcha and Vietnamese coffee. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee w/matcha foam on top w/50% sweetness. My mom ordered iced Vietnamese coffee at 50% sweetness. My sister and cousin ordered the matcha latte w/matcha foam and mango cloud at 100% sweetness. Both drinks came out in a timely manner considering how busy they got. The drinks tasted very good.
At 50% sweetness for the Vietnamese coffee tasted equally balanced in bitterness and sweetness. If you like it to more bitter, I recommend decreasing the amount of sugar to 25%. If you prefer it to be sweeter, you can increase the sugar level. They also have an option where you can order it regular where it's more strong and caffeinated or light/decaf so it's more sweet. Regarding their Vietnamese coffee at 50% sweetness, it tasted very good just like how it's supposed to be made if you were to make it at home.
For the matcha latte w/matcha foam my cousin said it was a bit too sweet for her but it still tasted well. The taste of the matcha foam for both drinks was made was very good. You could taste a bit of sweetness and chalkiness from the matcha foam but the chalkiness of the matcha foam wasn't overpowering. I'd also like to point out that the matcha foam didn't have any taste of bitterness which is a good sign.
For the mango cloud was delicious. Everything in the drink added lots of texture and flavor to the drink. If you like sweetness you can do 100% like I did but if you do not you can always...
Read moreOkay wow! I am blown away by Tea Drips menu. They definitely offer drinks that other boba shops do not offer. Not a boba milk tea or coffee girl but am a big fruit tea girl. I went in on the first day of their soft opening and tried the peach lemongrass tea… AH-MAY-ZING! Lemongrass is not overpowering and very fragrant. I can see myself ordering this for many summer days because of how refreshing it is. I always get 25-50% sweet and it’s perfect IMO. My Fiancé said his Ceylon milk tea is super fragrant and strong tea flavor which he loves. He tried the taro ube milk today and he is absolutely in love with it. He said it’s like drinking a cake but not as boring. It comes with boba and real taro paste! Went in today, the second day of soft opening and tried their salted plum with rosemary tea 50% sweet. Perfect balance of salty, sour, and sweet. This will probably be my second go-to if I ever want to take a break from my peach lemongrass. It’s really hard to pick between the two. Love the pork floss taiyaki, and the cheesecake!! They have a Royal Artichoke tea! I’ve had this before in Houston and I want to see if it tastes the same. I’m so exited to try it! I have to say, this place is 10/10 across the board from atmosphere, to staff, to drinks, and snacks! This will definitely be my go to spot for my bobas from now on! I would give them a week or two to work out a few kinks but that won’t stop me from coming back. Well done Tea Drip! You’ll definitely see more of me...
Read moreTea Drip really surprised me—in the best way. I got the Vietnamese coffee with custard foam and my wife got the one with ube foam. Both were excellent. The coffee is strong and rich like it should be, and the foams added a smooth, creamy layer that took it to the next level. The custard foam was super unique, and the ube gave it that extra flavor without being too sweet.
What really stood out was how authentic the coffee tasted. It reminded me of the Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in Little Saigon back in California—and even the coffee I had when I visited Vietnam. They do it right here.
We also grabbed a mango cloud for the road, and that one was just as impressive—refreshing, flavorful, and super well-balanced. We added boba to both the mango drink and the coffee, and it was amazing—chewy, fresh, and slightly sweet, just how it should be.
Tea Drip doesn’t just stick to Vietnamese coffee either. They offer a wide range of specialty coffees and boba drinks, and everything we’ve tried has been high quality and made with care.
Service was quick, and the vibe inside is clean and modern. If you’re into strong coffee, creative flavors, or want something different from your usual boba spot, Tea Drip is definitely worth...
