TL:DR Local store of national chain screws up repeatedly, loses my business for life at a time when most Americans can't afford to waste money. Read on!
This review is two reviews in one, with my most recent experience today being the catalyst for writing this review.
My office as per Google Maps is 1.2 miles away and 5 minutes by car and 0.9 miles away and 18 minutes walking. The first negative incident was about two years ago and I ordered from the website and instead of getting that Freaky Fast Delivery, I got my sandwich 45 minutes later with no reason from the driver or the store on why it was so late.
Seriously, I could have walked to this location and back faster than it took to deliver this sandwich by car!
To add insult to injury, when the driver came to the office, he forgot the drink. I waited another 20 minutes for my Coke that I really couldn't trust had been drunk out of. I complained and was told there is a free sandwich there to make up for this. I never took them up on their order, I voted with my wallet with other restaurants.
So like some Americans in this pandemic, I have been watching my calories, walking at night without anyone in my slipstream, and losing weight. So today I really wanted a cheat day with a #10 Hunters Club, ordered from Jimmy John's confusing iPhone app, paid online and drove from the office to pick up my sandwich, and tipped the fellow at the door 20% cash as I raced off to another stop looking for cloth or expired N95 masks for when I do have to go places with people still lost on the idea of social distancing.
When I finally got home, I come to discover my #10 Hunters Club ended up being a #16 Club Lulu and didn't have all the extras I ordered. I really didn't have time to call for another sandwich, my breakfast was at 9 am, its 3 pm now and I'm starved for something to eat other than the beans and basmati rice dishes I have been making in my pressure cooker.
I had time for a quick tweet that fell on Jimmy John's deaf social media ears, and I have a little time before going to bed to write this up.
But with 17+ million Americans unemployed, many can't afford to order food from places that screw up, and in my experience this location screws-up regularly, there are plenty of sandwich places around here, there is Subway down the street and there is Casey's which I've already reviewed. Jimmy John's has shown its best at their freaky, fast f**k ups with no accountability.
04/15/2020 Update: I complained about the service on Jimmy John's website about my recent dining experience and was sent an email addressed to Michael by the store's General Manager, which right now is on-brand for Jimmy Johns and then got a second email, "I apologize for the error. Michael is my customer service representative. This email is intended for William Kxxxxxxx'

Read moreDo not trust this store with your business. Ordered delivery on door dash 2 weeks ago. Someone from the store immediately called me and said they didn't have a delivery driver that night, so I asked them to cancel the order. 30 minutes later, I get a confirmation saying my order has been accepted and payment was processed. Tried to resolve it with door dash but they said the store handles all disputes directly. I call the store the next day and no one will answer the phone. So I drove there and there's a sign saying they're short-staffed and closed for the weekend. Spoke to someone on the phone a few days later and they said it takes 3-5 days to process a refund. Still no refund a week later. Spoke to someone on the phone again and they said they would contact their bank and issue a refund (this person was very kind and it seemed they genuinely wanted to help). Fast forward another week and still no refund. $80 charge...better believe I'm expecting that refund. Tried calling the store again and no one will answer the phone and door dash continues to tell me to resolve it with Jimmy John's. Absolutely ridiculous having to jump through so many hoops to get a refund for an order I...
Read moreMy mom and I went there today, trusting that our sandwiches would come back correct. Ordered a number 12 with pickle, and I got 0 meat on my order. So all my sandwich had on it was cheese and avocado. There were 6 people working there and it still managed to get messed up. I made a trip back there and I got no apology for the mess up or anything! I work in the food industry, and the least they could have done was apologize for the inconvenience. I will NOT be giving jimmy johns my business from...
