First time and only time I went here. They were kind of busy but not terrible. It took about 5-10 min to be sat which was nice. But it took 10-15 minutes for someone to ask what we want to drink. When the person I was with was asked what they wanted they had asked our waitress what they had as far as drinks due to lack of information on the menu. Long story short the person I was with asked what they had in general, the waitress replied with " you want me to list everything out", this made the person I was with very uncomfortable. They brought our syrup and butter to the table way before our meal. The syrup was in a bowl due to lack of containers. Then we watched our waitress go to everyone else but us and ask how they are doing. We waited so long for food that the syrup started to have a skin like layer. After about 30 minutes waiting for a waffle and skillet it came. The skillet was hot. However, the waffle was not even warm enough to melt butter. Then, hash browns came and they were soggy and cold. We waited for cold food. As we waited we noticed the plates and bowls at our table were dirty and there was silverware on the ground. we also noticed the coffee creamer said to keep refrigerated and that it contains milk. So we opened one and it smelt sour. Upon getting our food there was also hair on the silverware. Our waitress's lack of helping us really showed. Our drinks were only filled once and it was when we were about to leave. She filled the persons cup I was with, with water when they had sprite. When we went to talk to the manager we only went to tell him about the creamer, he had an attitude as if he didn't care probably because he was rushing around. However, he paid for the meal which I appreciated because I wasn't going to pay for the service we had. In all honesty the food didn't really have a whole lot of flavor anyways. Truthfully didn't want to give it...
Read moreThey have a section devoted to vegan food so I was pretty excited. There is just not a lot to offer eating out in the burbs. My daughter and I went and were sat immediately, the place was empty, no waitress for a very long time. At least 15-20 min. Asked for coffee and ordered two dishes to share. She brings out the tofu Mexican mess and 1/2 the pancake order. Still no coffee we had to ask again. Nor did she bring ketchup and tobasco after specifically asking us if we wanted. The tofu dish not only looked gross it tasted like they overused jalapenos to give it some flavor, any flavor. The 1/2 order of pancakes was mush in the middle. Finally, once we ate whatever was palatable the other 1/2 of the pancake order came out and it looked like it came from a different restaurant. Even I know consistency in your presentation is important. Anyway, our waitress was pretty worthless, didn't even bother to ask why we ate so little, the food was terrible. Why bother having a vegan section on your menu when it tastes like crap? I wonder if anyone who works there ever gave them a taste themselves? Needless to say, I will never return here. It was overpriced and terrible all the way around. I wrote someone on their contact us site and have not heard back so I imagine they must not be that bothered with bad reviews and dissatisfied customers. I don't know. I saw some people used a Groupon and to be blunt to me that screams desperation and bad food usually. Anyway, if you are vegan stay very far away from this place. It's worth a drive to the city or anywhere to not eat...
Read moreWasn’t very busy so I was confused why the lack of service occurred. It took about 2 minutes before even getting greeted because the lady who was sitting people was too busy making herself a coffee. When she finally sat us she just put the menus on the table & walked away without saying anything, and I later noticed she would when sitting other customers however. It took 5 minutes before our server Elena even came over to get out drinks. We ordered a coffee and blended juice. We never got waters while waiting for the drinks that took over 10 minutes. Why they took so long? The same lady who was worried about making her coffee was still worried about what she wanted to add into it. It would’ve been nice if we were brought waters if those drinks take longer. We asked for waters when we ordered our food. We got the drinks right before our food came out, at least the food was pretty quick. The food was good but our server never came over to make sure everything was correct and how we like it so far. She finally came once my boyfriend was already finished and I was over half done and asked how everything was tasting...little too late. Maybe 2 minutes later she came back as I still had a little less than half of my skillet and she gave us the check. She didn’t ask if I wanted a box or anything, and that was the last time she “checked” on us. This was my third time trying this place and I know for sure it hasn’t changed since I first tried it out, won’t...
