7venth Sun Brewing Company — Restaurant in Dunedin

Just a few short blocks from downtown Dunedin and the main strip is 7eventh Sun Brewery. A small tasting room with a warm welcoming feeling about the space. A total of 10-12 stools (one small and larger room) and a small bartop to place your orders. There are about 12 beers on tap with 2-3 being guest taps, some local.

There is awning style covered seating front facing the building and covered picnic tables (two large ones) on the side. A nice touch with the outside seating, but I noticed smokers tended to move to the outside seating and there goes the fresh air.

Their beer (7eventh) is good,well made tasty and complex (especially their porter).

The service however, is barely acceptable (I would have given them four stars but unfriendly service) the bartenders are NOT good at all. They serve you but it's as if they are put off and annoyed by your presence. They do not engage you and their demeanor is not friendly (two men). It's a shame because other than the uninviting bartenders, this craft brewery was really cool. I just won't be traveling from Tampa again to face servers that do not...

Besides the brews, they put humanity first. As an RN I have to speak out. I’ve been going to this spot for some time now…however today they had a customer come in that initially wasn’t feeling well and fell/fainted in their tap room. Without hesitation they cleared the area and withdrew new customers from entering their brewery and immediately called 911. They upheld the well being and dignity of a person over their business for a short period until the EMT’s arrived and the situation was cleared and the person was taken care of. I couldn’t have been more impressed at how they handled the situation. Great work...

We enjoyed great beers in this small taproom in the storefront on Broadway in Dunedin. We found nice tree-shaded parking around the side and back of the building. On this hot afternoon, the little beer garden on the side was empty on our way into the artsy taproom. A friendly bartender greeted us there and poured our beers. We sat on stools facing the front window, looking out on the busy street scene outside.
