Tony’s Pizza in Dunedin is the definition of a hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall kind of place that serves up some of the best pizza around. Don’t let the unassuming look fool you — the food here is incredible. The crust is thin and perfectly cooked, the sauce has that authentic homemade flavor, and the toppings are always fresh and loaded on generously. It tastes just like real New York pizza, and the slices are big enough to satisfy any craving. What I love most is the laid-back, no-frills atmosphere. It’s the kind of local spot where you instantly feel comfortable, whether you’re grabbing a quick slice at the counter or sitting down for a casual meal. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and they treat everyone like regulars. Add in their amazing garlic knots and other menu options, and this place easily becomes a go-to. If you’re in Dunedin and want great pizza from a true hole-in-the-wall spot, Tony’s is absolutely worth checking out!

Tony's Pizza in downtown Dunedin...ok ok. We've tried lots of pizza places in Tampa, they are all good, we loved all of them the same. Today we tried Tony's as we walked around this beautiful town of Dunedin. Guys, You MUST GO BY THIS PIZZA PLACE!! To me, it was superb, Delicious, not that much sauce, all the way around enjoyable taste. Yes I know it's just pizza but I hope when you come by, you'll agree with me. The crust was thin, the chunks of ham... Yes, I was sold by the big chunks of ham and pineapple (we ordered the medium Hawaiian for hubby and I) with 2 drinks and spent less than $30.00.. Oh heck yeah I'm definitely loving that my friends. The gentleman who took our order was really nice and friendly and there was a pretty good amount of people for a hot Sunday after 1pm. We're definitely going back again. You can't miss this little pizza place. I hope you enjoy as we did.

Pizza shop in the heart of downtown Dunedin. Pizza is good. They grab a slice and reheat it with a perfect crispy bottom if your dining in house or getting a slice to walk around downtown with. Favorite are the Veggie Pizza, the Sicilian Slice and the house Cheese is a staple. Water bottles, Soda and beer on tap. Window seats and a back dining area that's 4 top and 2 top tables. Staff is friendly and quick. Good solid spot to get a slice of pizza in downtown Dunedin.

Eggplant parmigiana sandwich: I have never written a negative review, generally don’t write reviews at all but this lunch experience was a very big disappointment. It started with the person on the phone taking my order. I simply asked for an eggplant parm sandwich and politely declined the chips or the fries. The young woman on the other end seemed unhappy about my response and pointedly stated that the sandwich would still cost $8.01. That was fine... My choice not to eat the extra carbs and fat and I was really looking forward to a delicious Italian eggplant parm sandwich. When she asked if there was anything else I added that I would like extra sauce on the sandwich. There was a long pause, with no acknowledgement of my request so I believe I asked if she’d heard me , and then stated again that I would like extra sauce. Her reply was “It’ll be $8.01 and ready in 10 mins.” I said “That’ll be fine.” There were 2 couples in the small restaurant around 12:30-ish pm when I picked it u. I sat in my car and attempted to enjoy my sandwich. Very disappointing..... the eggplant was burned and tasted very burned, and there was no extra sauce. I thought about going back in for a decent e.p. sandwich but decided that in this day and age, I might get something worse for complaining. So I ate half because I was hungry. I took photos of the sandwich. You decide for yourself....if I can add them to the review. On a positive note, my husband and I have been to Tony’s with and without friends. The pizza is very good. Being from NJ, I like pizza the way Tony’s prepares it. Needless to say, I MIGHT return for pizza but nothing else. Very disappointed in the woman’s poor customer service/attitude and the burned eggplant without the...

Went in last night, Sunday evening during a long weekend and ordered a pizza after being quoted a 20 minute wait. 25 minutes later our pizza still wasn’t in the oven. I asked the cashier to cancel the order and he said he didn’t have the authority to give us our money back and there was nobody in the building able to do so. After about 10 minutes of negotiations between other customers, I said, “I’m not trying to be a jerk, I just want our ordered canceled and our money back.” He obviously didn’t hear me and replied, “you want to be a dck, I’LL show you what being a dck looks like.” All while a dad and his two young children were waiting for their pizza for over 45 minutes, the guy made it incorrectly and tried to give it to us, I told them to give it to the family even though it was incorrect and the kids could pick off the incorrect toppings. It was a complete sh*tshow and nightmare. In the meantime a couple demanded their money back as well and was refused. They ended up calling the police. I asked for the owner/manager’s name and was refused. I was able to take a photo of our receipt and left my name and number, but have heard nothing in response. Meanwhile the police showed up and handcuffed and arrested a girl shouting and assaulting another patron over the wait time and operation of the restaurant. They are under new ownership and have really taken a dive in terms of customer service and quality. We obviously...

I have been there several times, it's convenient, prices are decent and the food is good, not amazing but for the price its reasonable. I've tried giving it several chances. We had tried to place an order online, we got the total but couldn't pay, so we called to order instead. The price was 3.00 more than the listed menu price and the one given online, we were paying cash at the counter with no add-ons or substitutes. When we asked about it, he literally started talking to someone else, I was going to tip that amount anyways so no biggie. The next time, we had a larger order and they were very nice to us, while we waited, I witnessed them being rude to another customer though. The next time we ordered, my fiance said as soon as the cashier knew we were just ordering slices, he became agitated/ perturbed and kind of rude, which is what happened to me a few weeks later when I ordered three slices. I don't take it personal, but when I asked for a box, explaining we were eating in the car, he just put the pizza on paper plates inside a brown bag. I didn't ask him again for one, knowing he heard me the first time, but I wish I would've offered to pay extra for it, because while driving home, it leaked out of the bag onto my lap, staining my skirt. We eat pizza in the car successfully all the time, a box makes all...
