This review is specifically for the McDonald's in Eagle Idaho. Where do I begin. I've been a patron here off and on for years, and simply put, I'm over it. I don't know how they do it but literally every single time I go through the drive through they mess up my order. It's exhausting. I only keep returning because the location is convenient, but after today...never again. Somehow a quarter pounder with cheese turned into 2 filet o'fish - and they forgot my nugget sauce. Seriously who gets nuggets with NO sauce? Shouldn't someone have the brains to think, "hmm nuggets but no sauce, maybe I'd better check this order?". Nope. Not at this location. Shame on me for going back again and again only to have my order wrong every single time. Shame on me for being so preoccupied with keeping the overfilled frozen coke from leaking all over my car's upholstery to check my order as well. It's uncanny! Statistically, they should accidentally get it right once in a while, but nope. This drive through exists in a special place in the universe where the law of averages does not apply. I simply can't explain it. It's beyond me and I'm just over it. I'll drive 5 miles out of my way to go to the other McDonalds when I'm in a hurry and don't care that I'll feel terrible in an hour. This place is dead to me.
Updated 7/27/2025. Shame on me. I went back. I figured since I needed to run an errand afterwards, I'd dine inside the store. That should ensure my order is correct right? Oh no, I ordered at the kiosk, grabbed my numbered tent so they could find me, and chose a table to wait. So I waited, and waited, and waited some more... 15 minutes later I went to the counter and the little display showing the queued up orders was missing mine. How I cannot say, but this is my first time back since my last review and here we are... To their credit they had it out to me in under 2 minutes once alerted. Read moreI usually frequent the McDonald's by my husband's work off Fairview or the one by our house off Chinden. We decided to hit up this McDonald's to avoid traffic from the fair that's going on.
I haven't been to this location before so it was different walking in. The set up isn't practical. The register is kinda hidden and there's a funky wall that prohibits the employees to see customers standing at the register. I did stand at the register for a bit before I had to move in front of food pick up area for someone to see me.
A sweet gal saw me and headed to the register. I'm on the hunt for the new Hello Kitty/Ninja turtle collaboration toys. I asked Chanel what toys they had available. She needed a minute to go look so we patiently waited. She did a minute so I thought maybe she was annoyed for me asking. This sweet girl when through and grabbed all my options. She made sure she grabbed all the ones available for me! I already had 2 of the 4 that they had so I told her I would take the 2.
I got my happy meal ordered and my extra toy. My chicken nuggets were nice and hot. My two things of small fries were perfectly fried. I love me some floppy fries and they were fried that way. My meal was pretty easy and it was what I wanted. I also appreciate that this McDonald's has their soda machine out for their customers to fill up their own drinks. It's so convenient to be able to refill your cup without standing there waiting for someone to do it for you.

Read moreI visited this location on July 9 around 115 pm. The Manager is very unpleasant and rude. I went inside and used their kiosk to order my food. After paying, the kiosk DID NOT print my receipt and said, please go to the counter and pick up your food. No one is at the counter, so I waited. The Manager came out and said I will be right with you. Manager came back and I told her what happened about my kiosk order. She said, well I don't see any order from the kiosk. This Manager did not ask any more information and assume that my order did not go through, then I was not done talking when she interrupted me again and said, I will be right back. This time, I had a time to pull my phone and look at my charge at my bank to confirm myself that I placed my order correctly. Manager returned for the second time, as I was explaining and showing to her the charge. She has all the nerve to raised her both arms and tell me to calm down. She asked me what I ordered, and she placed another order of course without charging me then she left. After a minute, a crew from the back came out and was holding my order that I placed 15 minutes ago. I told this crew, was that your Manager? the crew said yes, I told her please tell your manager that she was wrong , grabbed my food and left.
