We found Jennifer and Derek through their informative Facebook Page “Escape from California to Eagle Idaho, a Relocation Resource”. We had some mutual friends in Northern California and eventually realized we had attended the same church in years past. Derek sent me their relocation guide. Watching their Facebook page educated us to many aspects of a move to the Treasure Valley. I came through the area once and connected with Jennifer. She was low pressure and informative. My wife and I returned a few months later and had Derek and Jennifer show us a few homes in areas we were interested in. Again they were helpful and educational while not pressuring us at all. We returned a third time with our adult daughter to “just look” once again. Graciously they agreed to show us a wide range of properties we were checking out. When we looked at the last one we realized it actually had most of what we were looking for. Derek and Jennifer were encouraging as we were apprehensive about actually purchasing so quickly at that point. They executed our offer on the property and negotiated on our behalf to a very positive outcome for us regarding some needed repairs on this 2006 home. My husband and I went to Boise while considering different locations near the west coast for retirement. Neither of us had ever been anywhere in Idaho, however our adult daughter and her husband were considering a move there so we thought we would check it out. Derek and Jennifer were so amazing in helping us find our IdaHOME! They took us through the Treasure Valley and walked through many houses to narrow down which city we wanted to be in, which subdivision we wanted to live and which builder we wanted to build with. From finding us a house that was off market but in the foundation phase (which was perfect for the time frame we were looking for) we were still able to make the changes we wanted to the layout and pick the finishes we desired. They were on top of our build process and made sure changes that we added were completed all while we were still in San Jose. Being able to lock in prices months before we moved meant that we already accrued extra equity! My husband and I were just saying that this was the smoothest process.
