Wanted to give this location 0 stars but that's isn't an option. Even the 1 star isn't deserved. Rude staff, very unprofessional. They make up their own rules and charge for basic things like tap water and ice in the water. You are better off going to the Dunkin Donuts on Tices Lane on Route 18 South a minute drive away from this racist location. This isn't the first time we were treated badly. Usually I let it go but after being told I took water when I didn't and they charged me because "I had already taken water" I felt it wasn't policy but they were just treating us rudely just because they feel they can. My wife was also mistreated when she had visited this location some months back. She didn't want to eat anything at this location but since we're expecting, I wanted her to have something since she had just giving blood work and had noting to eat since morning and it was almost noon.
The staff barely understands what you request them and don't care to make sure they have your order right. The lady next to me had requested her order and was also frustrated because they just wouldn't acknowledge her order properly. This location wasn't busy either. When I ordered, I asked for a specific item, and the lady acknowledged. But I noticed that they didn't have it and she reiterated that yes we have it. When I pointed out that I don't see it. She said that's the same thing we have another version of it with a filling. I was made to feel like an idiot, so I went ahead and purchased out of embarrassment and left. Came back around because the babies wanted some cold water and they didn't like that and we're being rude. My wife and I saw the lady making faces and talking about us right to our faces!!! That's just insane!
The location on Tices Lane is always accommodating and beyond nice to their customers. You are better off spending money where you are treated with dignity.
This by far has been the only worst experience of our lives at Dunkin Donuts.

Read moreWhile it's in a convenient location, the service is abysmal.
The food and drinks (especially the drinks) aren't always consistent in preparation (think large chunks of ice in your iced drink or an iced down/watered down drink or, if you mention anything, prepared way too strong/syrupy-sweet).
Try asking questions, like what donuts are available (while no one's behind you, at the drive-through, during off-peak hours) and see how unpleasant that turns. Maybe they had a long day, they don't want to be asked questions, why not tell the person, "Please, come inside, so you can see," rather than, "We have donuts, we have a lot of them," then, rattling 3 or 4 off so quickly that the person regrets asking, because you've made it so obvious how upset you are with the fact that they asked you?
If you don't want to be in the food service industry, then don't be, but, if you choose to remain in it, keep in mind that interacting with the public and not being rude about it are a part of the deal.
At one visit, the person taking the order is overly friendly (making comments about the order you're making, asking how many people it's for, which, from a guy to a female buying, by herself, just feels...creepy). At another, the person taking the order just seems annoyed to be there, that you're there, or something...? At another, they're just annoyed, rude, lacking in any sort of customer service know-how.
Between that and the inconsistency in the food/drinks and the fact that the lack of customer service skills doesn't seem to be an isolated incident, I'd rather drive further out and have the food and drinks prepared correctly (without the passive aggressiveness, if you dare say anything, thinking you're being proactive) and, above all else, to have some hope of being treated decently.
I don't expect you to become my best friend while I order, just don't be creep me out nor be outright rude to me. Not a...
Read moreMy wife and I used the drive thru. We had our two kiddos with us. We order 4 drinks. My wife had to repeat and be very specific about one of the drinks due to lactose issue. The lady did not seem to think it needed to be repeated. So told my wife that she understood and to relax. We did not see the order done right on the display so my wife tried to make sure it was right. The lady did not want to hear it and again told my wife to relax and that she knows what she is doing not to worry. Well, my drink and the lactose persons drink were wrong. We had to make a couple of jug handles on rt. 18, but made it back. I went inside and reordered two of the drinks. She remembered one. Asked if we were just in the drive thu. I said yes. She proceeded to take care of drive thru customers while making ours. She finally starts our second attempt. She almost messes mine up again, but I caught her mistake before she made it. I told her that was the same mistake that caused us to come back. She gives us our drinks and that was it. I got two glazed donuts. I paid for the donuts and they were $9. I was surprised and asked why and saw she charges for the two drinks. She took back our origional drinks whish were still full. When I questioned why I had to pay for these drinks and we had to go well out of the way to get back to the location. She finally offered us a free drink...well, we were 4 people with 4 drinks. Where was I going to put the spare drink? Eventually to not cause further myself further frustration, I left. Paid around $25 for $14 worth of drinks that were not even good. I have never had a bad drink from dunkin until I came to this location. If she wouldn't have tried to shoosh my wife, I might not be posting this. And not making me pay for two more drinks. Really strange how customer service in so many areas has...
