I was disappointed for a few reasons. My boyfriend ordered from here at the restaurant and took it to go. No problem. He liked it. We call to place an order and are trying to ask what specials they have. Right away the person on the other end is rude saying how that’s to much to tell us and to go online. Umm I am online and can’t find it. Then we are told we have to come in and sit down to get the special. Confused, we say no just ordered from there and took it to go. Instead of playing on the phone, I just go in. I start my order explaining what I want on the sandwiches. I am speaking with the older man, but then a younger man comes out and starts clarifying, over speaking. I wasn’t talking to you, but ok fine. This was my first time trying their food. You’re given a baby portion of fries but get filled up quickly because the cheesesteak is more bread than anything. Not to mention I asked for a side of cheese wiz for the fries and they gave me it cold. The taste was good though. Ok fine. Go back in to order the next day and the older man is taking my order. Literally ordering the same sandwich. Once again, the younger guy starts over speaking, saying now how it’s going to cost more because the special is plain. Huh? I said every time, you tell me something different.I said no, I was just here and that wasn’t the case. Third time getting the same thing. He starts arguing with me telling me I wasn’t there and that they are the only two there who could have taken my order. Yea, you did. I’m all about receipts, I will gladly prove my point.I said it’s fine, I want nothing. I think the younger man needs to learn professionalism. I made sure to tell them they have good food but I’m good and start to walk out. The guy of course is yelling oh that’s fine. Yea go ahead. Idk if he is the owner but I sure hope not. The only reason we ordered there as many times as we did was because we are staying in the area. They won’t get my money anymore while...
Read more3/18/22: I'm very disappointed to see that they raised their prices so substantially. A large plain pie went up nearly FIVE DOLLARS basically overnight. I know we're in a period of inflation, but inflating for the sake of it is awful and such a substantial raise suddenly is also terrible. I won't be back, at least not for awhile. Still excellent pizza, but for the price I'll go elsewhere.
Edit** I’m making an adjustment to my original review for a few reasons. Yes, that certain day my delivery took an extremely long time. That could’ve been for any reason and may have been out of their hands. Maybe a driver called out, maybe they were just extremely swamped and busy. It seems most people (myself included) are more likely to leave a review when things go bad rather when things are status quo.
So Michelangelo’s is my go-to pizza place and has been for many years now. I’ve not encountered an extreme delayed delivery like I did on my original review since then and I’ve ordered a LOT since then. The facts are this: their pizza is absolutely AMAZING. Whether it’s the traditional, their famous thin crust, or Sicilian, you cannot go wrong. The sauce is flavorful, the cheese is quality and delicious, and the crust is just perfect. There’s no leaving uneaten crusts in the box. The prices are fair and competitive. They also have some great deals on Slice (although I’d be very happy if they added a deal for just two plain pies 😁). You can’t go wrong with quality ingredients and good prices from people who care about what their doing. Give them a shot. You will NOT be sorry you did!
Original review: Pizza is great... but order it far In advance. 90 minutes to deliver two pies 4 minutes down the road...

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience here was frustrating enough that I feel it needs to be shared. I went in for a slice of pizza and a Greek salad — a pretty standard order. What I got was far from a Greek salad: a bowl of iceberg lettuce with a few olives, some feta, and raw onions. No cucumbers, no grape leaves, not the proper dressing — just completely lacking in every way.
I went back to clarify if this was truly their version of a Greek salad, and the man behind the counter insisted it was. I pointed out it was false advertising, especially at $11. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering a solution, he refunded my money and rudely told me, "Don’t come back."
Frankly, I wasn’t planning to. The place wasn’t clean, the air conditioning wasn’t on (which made it uncomfortable), and the pizza had no flavor at all. I asked for oil and vinegar and was given balsamic instead. Nothing about the food or service showed care or professionalism. They are definitely not Italian to act so disgraceful.
What could’ve been a simple fix with an apology turned into an unnecessarily unpleasant encounter. Based on my visit, this place seems more interested in cutting corners than in serving real food or treating customers with respect. Definitely would...
