My son and I went to Applebee’s in East Norriton for an early Sunday dinner and were so happy with our dining experience! My son had a special diet request and Scott, one of the managers, was very accommodating and gracious. I spoke with Scott in advance of going to the restaurant and he was very helpful. Once we arrived, Scott came out to speak with us and was very attentive to our questions and requests. He did a wonderful job of preparing my son’s food as we requested and Scott checked with us several times to ensure that everything was OK. My food, as well as my son’s, was delicious. I had the salmon which was excellent—best salmon I have had in quite a while! 0ur server, Amy, was also very kind and helpful! The atmosphere at the restaurant is relaxing and upbeat. We had an outstanding experience and we recommend Applebee’s highly! Thank you, Scott!! Very convenient parking too!
My son and I have been to Applebee's again several times and each time we had such a positive experience with our dining there. My son once again had a special food request and I spoke with Chip, one of the managers, in advance of going to the restaurant. Chip was so gracious and helpful and, once we arrived at Applebee's, he came out to greet us and was very accommodating with our requests and questions. The food that Chip prepared for my son and my own meal were both carefully prepared and delicious! Chip checked in with us to ensure that everything was prepared well and we thanked him for his excellent cooking! Our server, Andre, was also very kind, very helpful, very thoughtful and prompt and efficient. Thank you, Andre! Altogether a great and relaxing dining experience and we continue to recommend Applebee's in East...
Read moreAfter taking my grandkids to urban air, we decided to go to an early dinner at Applebee’s. From the moment we entered, the greeter seemed to have a very bad attitude. They were going to give us tables and instead we asked for a booth because we had two smaller children with us, one who had autism so we wanted him in the inside of the booth. She got an immediate attitude when we asked her to switch tables. Then no one came over to greet us, to say someone will be with us shortly and at this point, my grandson with autism is very agitated so he’s crying. The vibe just felt really weird and we sat there waiting for someone to come over to the table and no one did so we got up and left. As we were going to the car two young ladies who were servers were almost running out behind us and was apologizing profusely and said that they also noticed that no one came over to our table and even asked other waitstaff that were there if they were gonna go over to our table and still no one did. They told us that we should call back and speak to the manager and let them know what happened, but they just kept apologizing and said that if they weren’t Just ending their shift, they would have came over to our table, but they felt the vibe as well so I know it wasn’t something that I imagined. This was Saturday around 4:45pm. One thing is for certain, I will never step foot in...
Read moreI’m not sure if it’s something in the water or the air. But lately, these restaurants have been really bad at hiring people. I walked into this establishment today and no one even greeted me. I walk in and a woman sitting at the desk closest to the door just stares at me. Are you kidding me? I had to say hello to you? Me? The guest? Has to greet you? I don’t think so. I had to get the attention of one the hosts in order to be seated. Once I was seated 10 minutes went by and no one greeted me at the table. Not a “hi someone will be right with you” or a “hi your server is insert name here and she will be right with you but can I start you guys off with some water”. Nothing. So me and the company I was with left because what kind of service is this? Unbelievable and totally unprofessional. Needless to say I won’t be returning. Ever.
