Update...SIX YEARS, gave it another shot. Here's my Bruno, missing ricotta and the greasiest pepperoni pie I have ever seen. JFC. I wanted it to be better. I really did. I should have expected the same level. There was one family of 2 and a baby leaving and a 4 top of older people in the whole place when I walked in. It wasn't even like they were busy. I paid on the app but was given a receipt to sign. What?! Maybe they were expecting a tip but I don't know what for. They couldn't even get the Bruno right. Maybe that description has also changed and it's not updated online. Maybe it doesn't come with ricotta anymore. I give up. Lower your expectations when you get to the door. I absolutely love Colonial, I always have since I was in high school 25+ years ago. I was very disappointed with the order we placed and what was received when it got delivered. My girlfriend ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza. The menu online shows the picture and description both with no sauce. That was the only menu she had to go by and since it was online she figured it was the most current version of their menu. She can't eat red sauce and was glad to see this on the menu. The other pic below is what we actually received and when she called back to complain that it shouldn't have red sauce, these kids were not willing to replace it, stating that it came with sauce. They wanted to charge her for another pizza if she wanted no sauce. We had already ordered 3 pies. She was frustrated, started to cry, and it was at this point that dinner and the rest of my night were ruined. I took this pizza and angrily drove it back to Colonial. The whole purpose of calling for delivery was so I didn't have to leave the house after working a 12 hr day. I tipped the driver well and now had to go argue with someone in person about what their website states. 30 minutes and 50 cents in a parking meter later, I got the correct pie, no charge, they took the wrong pie back and I got to eat cold pizza when I got home. Update your menu online, have your workers check to validate what your customers are trying to explain to them over the phone instead of being dismissive and condescending. Every time we order for delivery, whether it's here or at a friend's house something always goes wrong.

Outstanding Experience! This place had it all. Excellent food, exceptional service, and ambiance. Our party of 4 were welcomed warmly when we arrived. The place was spotless and had a warm feel. We were greeted and ordered our drinks and an Antipasto Salad and "The Bruno" meatball appetizer. The Antipasto was huge and the presentation was spot on. The meatballs were absolutely delicious having the perfect consistency and flavor. Very close to my Italian mother's taste. The gravy tasted homemade and that carried throughout the meal. We had a kids spaghetti and meatballs for a 3 year old and the adults ordered Chicken Francese, Manicotti, and a 1/2 White / 1/2 Red Pie. There pies are made upside down with sauce on top and the cheese on the bottom. And getting a pie split with white & red was the best of both worlds. The Chicken Francese was delicious and you could cut with a fork. Tender and the sauce was outstanding. The Manicotti was homemade and melted in your mouth. With the combo of gravy and melted cheese on top was to die for. The pizza was phenomenal. Crispy thicker style crust and the flavor was so tasty. And I have to add that the pasta we had with our meals was Al Dente which you would expect from an Italian restaurant but not always get. We had the Chocolate Covered Cannoli and the Zeppoles. The cannoli shell was crisp and the ricotta filling was so fresh. YOU HAVE TO GET THE ZEPPOLES. Enough to share. Nor greasy, crispy outside that crunches, and a warm soft center that is the best I have ever had. We happened by this hidden gem by accident and I will make it a point to go there on a regular basis. They have dining upstairs and a pub and dining downstairs. I would be remiss if I did not mention our hostess Melissa who was sensational. She made us feel so welcome, told us about the menu and the place itself which she is proud of, and should be. She is part owner and just a wonderful person. I would highly recommend this place and if it's on a Friday or weekend night, I would suggest making a reservation. Thank you again Melissa for making this a truly exceptional and we will be seeing you very soon! Grazie!

Lightening Strikes Twice! We were here a week ago by chance and had a great experience. We came back last Saturday to see if our experience would be consistent. We were not disappointed. We started with the small antipasto which is plenty for 3. My wife tried the Creamy Italian dressing and said it was good and I stuck with the oil and vinegar. It was as good as last time so this will become a regular for us. We ordered a 1/2 White - 1/2 Red Pie which we had last time and the crust was crisp and the pizza itself was very tasty. We ordered a Chicken Parm over pasta and Rigatoni with Meat Sauce. Again, the chicken was so tender you could cut with a fork and the Pasta was al dente as it should be. The meat sauce is real good and I will have again. We ordered Cannoli and Zeppoles for dessert. The Cannoli were fresh and the Zeppoles were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It was a great experience and what made it even better was Juliana. She took care of us from the moment we came in. She was nice, knew the menu well, and efficient as it comes. As it became busy she was flying around the dining area. As busy as it got, She never stopped checking on us and taking care of our needs. Colonial is lucky to have her. Again, I would highly recommend a visit if your in the area and even if it's a little drive, it will be worth it.

My girlfriend and I just moved right around the block from Colonial Pizza & Spaghetti House. We decided to try it a few weeks ago because the menu looked good and it was in walking distance from our apartment.

We were welcomed by the bartender and waited at the bar until a table opened outside. My girlfriend ordered a drink and we relaxed for a little; the bartender was very friendly. We eventually made our way outside and were seated next to a very loud group. My girlfriend and I didn't converse much because we could barely hear each other over the group. There was also a couple smoking a few feet from the restaurant. We could smell the cigarette smoke, which made our experience that much more unpleasant.

In regards to service: Our waitress didn't bring us water until we were done with our food. I had to ask my girlfriend if she had a bottle of water in her purse; fortunately she did. My girlfriend didn't have much of an appetite that night so she put her food in a to-go container. She forgot her container on the table when we left. We realized this as soon as we were around the block (no more than 3-5 minutes). She ran back to restaurant, but when she got there, the waitress said that she threw the container away. She told my girlfriend that she could go into the trash to get it if she wanted it. This is what will prevent us from returning to this restaurant. I was hoping they would've been more compassionate and understanding of the situation. My girlfriend ending up paying for a meal she...
