Exactly the same scam for the phone service. They went through the order collected the money from my card and then proceeded to tell me it would be 80-90 min (1.5 hrs) to receive the order! The agent had ab extremely thick accent and was very hard to understand. After I asked to refund and cancel they called the store and said no longer than 50 min.
I asked to make a formal complaint about charging customers BEFORE letting them know the wait will be 1.5 hours but the representative said he appreciated my opinion and disagreed with me and saying they don't know how long the wait will be until they check the system... I corrected him and I'm sure he did nothing.
The deliver charge is now $5.99. they asked for my phone number "in order to complete the order" but after the call sent me a text message enrolling me in promotional texts. I had to decline the texts manually. I was fraudulently enrolled without my permission. I'm concerned about where the call center is located and what is done with my phone number.
The delivery did arrive in 25 minutes from my local branch and the pizza was well made which was awesome.
January 2022 - They will absolutely not and said they "cannot" give you an estimated delivery time until after you pay with your card. This forces you to pay and then haggle for a refund and wait for your money back if the wait time is excessive. I...
Read moreThis place is TERRIBLE. We've ordered from them 3 times and they have managed to screw up our order every time by adding extra cheese instead of extra sauce. Those are built-in options. It's not like we're asking for something totally out of the norm. They also don't make it well-done, which is another built-in option that we ask for every time. I finally called to complain after the 3rd time it was wrong, and was told they'd get a new pizza right out. 35 minutes and no replacement pizza later, I called to check on the status and was put on hold, and the rep came back like a minute later and said they were trying to get it out the door ASAP. It's now been 2 hours since I originally ordered the pizza and we still haven't received the replacement. I am NEVER ordering food again this company again. My husband just called to ask for the owner's information, and the manager gave him attitude and said "Unfortunately for you, I won't give that information to you." I really hope the owner reads this review and takes some action, because based on the other reviews I've read, it's only a matter of time until this place...
Read moreTeens ordered 2 pizzas that arrived burnt and with gluten free crust, which was not intentional. (Later discovered GF was the Postmates default option so easy to make that mistake.) When they called to inquire, PJ’s response was basically “take it up with Postmates.” So I drove the burnt pizzas to the shop to show them. Their responses ranged from “don’t know what you want us to do about it” to “the order says GF.” Finally I said forget those two, can you make me the pizzas they wanted and I’ll pay for them. One of the workers told me they would have had I not taken attitude with them. That’s about the time I started taking attitude. Long story short, I worked with the acting manager to BUY replacements for the unwanted burnt pizzas, apologized for the attitude, and left on good terms. My wife pointed out how dirty the shop was, which I hadn’t noticed. Given the 30 or so alternatives nearby that doubtlessly would have worked a little harder to keep our business, I don’t expect we will be ordering...
