We placed a nearly $150. order last night for take out.. I waited 40 min. at the bar for the food to be prepared. Never offered so much as a drink of water while waiting (and this was on a Tuesday night when town was not very busy). Staff needed to check the order 3x by taking it out of the bags to make sure everything was included. I observed a gentleman coming in and saying clearly "Pick up order for Bob". He was shown the way to the toilet. There are some communication problems here. Food was good, though over priced for Chinese.
It needs to be pointed out that Henry's uses an outside vendor for their on-line order app. If you order on line, expect approximately a 10% service fee. As other reviewers have noted, by not answering their phone, Henry's forces patrons to their on line app. Also, the time slide does not give accurate predictions of when your food will be ready for pick up.
5/10/24 Update. We ate in last evening. Two adults. One child. A $15 "service fee" was added to the bill and then they solicited an 18%, 20% or 25% tip on top of the service charge when the credit card bill was presented. ...
   Read moreMy visit on March 24th was not good. The worker behind the bar took my to go order. I asked for spring rolls versus wonton's and he said they don't have spring rolls. I asked where the egg is in the egg rolls and he said there is not eggs in them. I told him I want the 'no egg' eggrolls. I told him I had asked because I am allergic to eggs. He responded rudely, 'I'm not going to give you eggrolls if you are allergic to eggs.' I told him that he JUST told me there is no eggs in them and he replied well to be safe I'll give you wonton's. So he confidently told me there was no eggs in eggrolls, then rudely replied when I said I wanted them (but was allergic to eggs). I ordered white rice, as I'm allergic to eggs in the fried rice. He said he got it. He rushed through everything. I then sat there for 20 minutes as I waited to receive my order. He NEVER offered water or anything. I finally asked as I was very thirsty. When I got to my location to eat, I realized I had been given fried rice! Bad experience!

A little over a year ago, I started working in Riverwalk, we decided to order takeout for lunch. 30mins after ordering (giving the restaurant 10 extra minutes than they quoted) I went to pick up the order. When I got there I had to wait another 15 mins for the order. The customer service was terrible, and the food ended up tasting mediocre at best. We were super disappointed. It has taken me a year to try this place again. We walked in there today, seen several people sitting at tables (dinning in) only to be told that the 2 of us can order takeout because they were "not allowing" dine in. Well... the sign outside completely contradicted what we were told by the staff... none the less we went to Boardroom Deli (Delicious!! Great service) and will not be returning to Henry's.
