Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Edwardsville

The fact that I even have to write this is almost too ridiculous for words. I came through the drive-through on May 28 and ordered a chicken club toaster with only chicken, bacon, and cheese. When I got home the sandwich only had the chicken on it, so I called the store and they told me to come up and park in the parking spot closest to the door and that they would run out my correct order. The person who walked to my car first asked if I had a burger, and then I told her “no, just a chicken club toaster plain.” She confirmed, and brought me back a replacement. However, when I got home and opened this sandwich it was a plain double cheeseburger toaster. So I called the store again and she took my name for a replacement sandwich.

Well tonight I went to try to get my replacement, and the manager said that they could not find my name written down anywhere and would not be able to give me my sandwich. I was essentially called a liar. I had planned on ordering other food as well.

Young Night Manager was very rude and unprofessional. I understand that your restaurant closes at a certain time but I feel that if I am in line before that time I should be waiting on. I waited in line for 10 minutes only to get to the speaker right at 10 to be told that they were closed. I did pull around to say that you should have something to say closed or closing especially if you already have a line. The night manager comes out after I already noticed the car behind me was being helped to say that he was actually Door Dash and told me that instead of waiting in line that I should have gone to one of the individual spots. if I could give 0 stars I would i ordered a RT44 sweet tea and got tea that not only was it not all that sweet but tasted expired so i asked for another one they brought it out and while it tasted fresh was more bitter then the last and when i called them out on it the guy reprimanded me and said well that's actually how we make the tea if you want i can bring you more sugar first of all why would i add sugar if its their job to do it right to begin with and 2nd of all how dare you lie and talk to a paying customer like that Ive had the tea before and it was excellent so that's a load of crock don't waste your time here save your money and go somewhere that will do...
