We hadn't been to this Wendy's in years, due to previous poor experiences. My son and I decided to give them another chance earlier this week at like 2pm. We placed our order online, but still had to pull up and wait about 10 minutes with melting Frosty's to get our order. What we got was cold food, missing our large chili. We were also missing all condiments, except BBQ sauce for one order of nuggets. We were missing honey mustard for the other chicken nugget order. We were missing sour cream and butter for the baked potato. We had 1 fork for 3 fork items (salad, baked potato, bacon cheese fries). I ordered the Strawberry Summer salad; I added pecans and parmesan crisps through the apps customization options. Not only was the salad missing the added ingredients, it was also missing the almonds that it's already supposed to come with & I didn't request them removed. They were out of the Champagne dressing it's supposed to come with, so they just substituted without asking. Our order only had like 10 items total. I was hesitant to leave a review that seems like a laundry list of nitpicks, but at the same time if I need an accoutrement to eat something, I should receive it! And an $8 salad should be made exactly right. They left one of the most expensive items off of the salad. When I have to pull forward while 6 other cars are served in the drive-thru whe I wait 10 minutes for my order, everything should be hot and perfect when I receive it. There were only 2 other cars there when we got there.
I did call and speak to a manager. She did say they'd give me the chili when I come back. But I really don't want to go back. She kind of acted like my complaints were no big deal. She wasn't listening because she kept talking to someone else and they seemed to doubt believing me that the salad wasn't made right (especially the misding almonds), and she really seemed like she could care less that the condiments weren't included. I didn't bother to mention our wait or cold food after that. I wondered if they could just refund the chili, but I didn't feel...

Couldn't get them by phone as it sounded like a busy signal (figured they'd taken the phone off the hook - it was 7:00 pm). So, drove up to get the order rectified. At drive thru, I told the attendant the issues. Window guy must have been listening as they said to come up to his window. Taco salad was missing chili. Instead of the 1/2 container that has always been a part of that (I've ordered that item for years), he tried to hand me a very small "dipping" container. I asked "what's that?" He said "it's chili". They must have decided greatly reducing the amount with the taco salad would be a way to generate savings. Reluctantly, he said he'd give me a second one. I said "well we won't be coming here again." And, he said "that's ok." (!!!!!) He started closing the window and I said "Wait. We're not done yet." And, I repeated that my drink was far from filled. He asked me what size we'd ordered and if I'd already drunk it. I was so surprised, I said "yes" even though that wasn't the case. (Figured he was expecting that I'd bring it up with me as evidence.) So, he filled a small cup (I'd ordered Large) and said "here's a free one on us" with obvious sarcasm. I asked about the availability of a manager and he said "there's not one here right now." (I thought restaurants always had some kind of manager on duty.) So sad. Service has just gone down hill there precipitously. Always felt well taken care of in the past. Read moreThis store needs a whole new staff. The last two times my boyfriend and I tried to go have been awful and we won’t return. The first time, we went to the drive thru at around 10 pm and their hours online say they close at 12. There was a decent line and they served every car in front of us. When we got to the speaker, she said that they can’t serve us because they were closing. We waited for 30 minutes just for them to say they can’t serve us even though they weren’t supposed to be closing that early and had served every car in the line in front of us. This morning, my boyfriend placed a mobile order 30 minutes after they opened. He went to pick it up and was greeted at the speaker with people laughing. They said it would be a couple minutes, no big deal. He waited 30 minutes, he tried to call and they ignored him and ignored him when he tried to get their attention in the drive thru. He cancelled the order, but we don’t know if he still got charged. I tried to call the manager to tell them about the last two experiences, and if you see their reviews like obviously something needs to change. She didn’t hear me out and hung up the phone.
