Update Went back in the other day to check out the new spot. I was in there for about 10 minutes looking at sports cards and was NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED. Had they even bothered to say hello they would have found out that I was giving away some pristine 1996 Pocket Monster cards that i found. I'm not sure I would go back** Still havnt met anyone working there that knows anything about sports cards. Bought 3 baseball mystery packs for $20/ea. Garbage. Maybe $5 in value for each box. no autos and damaged cards. Definitely junk and put together poorly. Well, good for them but bad for the customer. It honestly looks like cards from some kids collection from under their bed. Hobby boxes are pretty pricey and I've yet to see any kind of jumbo box. Sports are limited altogether. All in all, I took a chance that I wont be taking again any time soon. They got 2 stars because it looks like they are doing well for the...
Read moreOver priced wax. They have a box of 2019 Topps Series 2 for $300. It’s $230 on Dave & Adam’s, Blowout and Steel City. They’re as low as $195 on eBay( but eBay wax can be risky).I’m all for supporting local card shops if they want to make 5 or 10 bucks off a box, but a $70 markup is why people shop online at the major distributors. Very little in the case for sports cards, especially baseball.
Do your research before you purchase anything.
I was gonna give them 3 stars because the employee was nice and the store was clean and full of all the Pokémon stuff that I don’t know anything about. Then after reading the owner response to other critical reviews I gave them 1 star. What kind of asinine way is that to respond to customers? Go somewhere else or online for your card needs, no need to put money in the pockets of an owner who is...
Read moreAs a member of the magic tournament and consistent Stacked Pax customer I can say that the owner and staff have been nothing short of amazing. A recent Reddit post claims an unfair disqualification from a tournament leading to a bombardment of 1 star reviews that is simply untrue. The player failed to follow the pre agreed on rules of the tournament and became hostile when informed of their rule violation. The owner even offered a refund of the $5 entry please don’t believe everything you read on Reddit and pile on negatively affecting a player/community...
