Corner Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in El Paso

I went in today looking forward to shrimp scampi and loaded potato soup. I was disappointed in the service I received. The person who bought my food to me, brought me a cold bowl of potato soup. I sent my soup back, only to receive it again still cold and with a dirty spoon. I sent my soup back a second time, to receive it again still cold. Then I noticed the manager in the white with black polka-dot shirt, Tell her employee that I was wrong that my soup was not cold. She is extremely rude. I avoided dinning because of her attitude before. I can tell they set my soup in a warmer. On another note, the shrimp in my scampi which made my pasta the most expensive dish on the menu tasted like water. There was very little seasoning, and to top it all off the Caesar salad that came on the side with my soup had more croutons then there was lettuce served with some slimy sauce as an attempt to pass it off as Caesar.I love the food at corner bakery but at this particular location fails to meet my standards every time. When I asked for more salad they just gave me the same salad back, I am beyond disappointed in this location service. I don't mind paying almost $13 for a meal I was just disappointed in the quality of food and service. When I'm starving I'll eat almost anything, but on this occasion left my "meal" on the table and walked out of the restaurant. I regret not going to my first which was the Whataburger across the street. My experience here was terrible. A worker named Regina fully shoulder checked me and did not apologize. Another worker who was named Claudia looked me in the eyes and glared at me because an employee whom I am related to was interacting with me. I have no problem with telling your employees to get back to work but to look a customer in the eyes and glare at them is insane. I did not call the employee over, they came up to my table. I got the message that the other employees did not want me there. It was beyond unprofessional, and upon conversations had with other people I know who have been here, they were treated similarly. The food was okay at best, the best thing was the loaded baked potato soup which I would say was average. I didnt like the pesto pasta which I think isnt the companies fault, it just wasnt for me. The garlic bread was extremely difficult to chew. The cinnamon swirl cake item (I dont recall its actual name), was mediocre in my opinion, the outer edges were very hard, some pieces were nearly rock solid. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT! We went to the Corner bakery this morning to eat breakfast. We were approached by a manager by the name of Cynthia Jarmillo. She asked us if we wanted to wait 10 minutes or sit on the patio. We responded we would sit on the patio. There was a couple in front of us had been waiting for a long time. I noticed several people going around them. I asked if they were going to order and they responded that the manager Cynthia was not allowing them to order. She apparently was making them wait until some tables cleared out. I walked around them to order. The manager then walked towards me saying, "Ma'am if you don't like it, then I can give your table to someone else!" I said excuse me. This manager is completely unprofessional! She then told the cashier that she was refusing service for us and got in my face saying we are not serving us. All the cashiers witnessed her poor leadership and out of control behavior. Other customers also witnessed her behavior and walked out. Cynthia even approached my husband accusing him of taking pictures of her. I emailed the DM Michael. He justified her behavior.
