I have a tendency of googling coffee near me to try nonchain, mom & pop-like, small businesses. I found Desert Rose and decided to make the 22 min drive from the far east due to their 5 star & high praise reviews. Sadly, it wasn't worth the drive and I left disappointed. The stand is very cute, and I like their concept. I ordered the Golden Apple latte from their fall menu and a vanilla matcha. The matcha wasn't bad, I couldn't taste any vanilla though. The photo on their page online shows it with a soft top, which it didn't come with, so it's quite misleading. The Golden apple, tasted like burnt coffee.
