Nice little place and very creative menu items. You can tell the menu items are sort of an artistic expression by a very creative mind. The burgers are large, uniquely constructed and the bread is nicely toasted. So, why only a 4 Star review? The burger patty. Yes, the dreaded burger patty. The meat tastes like the meat they use on those pre-made frozen meatballs you buy in the frozen aisle or a very thick McDonald's hamburger Patty. I'm certainly not trying to say that McDonald's is comparable to Panda Burger. NOT AT ALL. I'm just trying to get you to visualize the texture. We had a group of 6 of us and we all agreed that the meat was the Achilles heal. We really expected more since we had seen so many delicious pictures of hamburgers, from this place, on FaceBook. The rest of the burger, is perfect. But you can't go cheap on the meat. Toro Burger, Mooyah, Steve O's, Crave, all have superior meat patties. I'm assuming they make it themselves? I dont know. But, they are juicy and the meat tastes fresh, not frozen. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about Panda Burger. I would have given 5-stars had the meat been better. Also, the staff ended up being polite, but initially, they should really try to smile a little more when people walk in and not look so serious. Based on the serious expressions I encountered when we all walked in, I almost thought I owed them money...

Read moreI saw the YouTube video of this restaurant on Texas Bucket List and added it to my "must trys" for a recent trip to El Paso. The folks in here are super friendly and they had a nice sized crowd. They obviously are doing something right to have such good business at this apparantly struggling strip mall location. I ordered the Mucha Carne burger and was not impressed. The bun didn't stand a chance and crumbled in my hands. I had to eat it with fork and knife. The burger meat itself tasted rotten. Maybe it's the spices they put on it, but it was the worst tasting burger I've eaten. The hot dog was so disgusting that I removed it from the burger and didn't eat it. The avocado and bacon was tasty but I really couldn't enjoy a burger that tasted like this one. To add to the disappointment, I ordered iced tea, but not sure what I received. It wasn't iced tea like I know. Maybe it was instant iced tea? I took a sip and had to ask for lemonade. Now this drink was amazing! I would come back just for their lemonade. It was the best lemonade I've had in my life. Well done on that! If only the rest of the meal was equivalent. I'm glad that El Paso loves this place. It just...
