Whiskey Dicks Inc — Restaurant in El Paso

This was a really bad experience, I am from out of town visiting my mother, I had gone to one of the other clubs (Same type of music) Wild horse and after being there for only a few minutes and having only one drink I got online to see other country music clubs in the area since this is my type of music by choice.

I arrived at the door of Whiskey Dicks only to be received in a very unfriendly manner by the door bouncer or ID checker, this kid and I say kid because I almost doubled his age and it was obvious of this he asked me for my ID which I didn't had a problem showing it, only thing is that I traveled into the area with my temporary ID (PAPER) because I still hadn't gotten the actual when I left San Antonio because the reason I came into El Paso was because my mother has cancer, so after showing him my ID he tells me that is no good and he pointed out my Picture on the Temp ID so he tells me do you have your old one to I'll bet anyone that nobody carries it and I see this every day and I'll say why I know this in a minute, I was looking at him like are you kidding me kid I'm older than you even if TABC would have shown up they wouldn't have ever asked me for my ID so I was like ok I have another ID in my car that has my Picture on it if that's the problem ID that we never show at clubs to get in because it would be considered in some places that we're almost asking even to get in for free.

So I went back inside and I told him how about this one and he grabbed it and shined his flash light on it and I saw the look on his face for a second he was speechless because it was my Police Identification HELLO I'm a cop from out of town hr then looks at me and tells me almost not wanting to Oh it doesn't have your date of birth on it, I told him laughing 1975 and these ID's never have the DOB on them and he still didn't let me in, I told him while still laughing that's ok and I left peacefully.

One thing for sure ounce I go home and I ran plates if I see anyone from El Paso I will make sure that I hand out a nice ticket(s) with a big smile on my face.

So to anyone thinking of going to this place I suggest they go someplace else this is not the only club in El Paso as a matter of fact I'm planning on going out again on Saturday and this time I'm planning on driving all the way to Las Cruces to Grand central Station much better place we have one of these in...

If there was a no star button that is what I would give. We went here for my husband's birthday. One of the customers, drunk female who maybe was 22, pushed my husband so hard he almost fell. I told this girl to not touch my husband in a polite manner. She got upset thru up her hands and tried to fight me. Instead of throwing this girl out, Rob, the over 6 ft bouncer came to me and said I had to leave. I told him that we did nothing wrong and that she had assaulted my husband. This bouncer began to shove his body into me. I'm 5'2" 135 lbs. He's easily over 200 lbs. I started to fall backwards. Needless to say the cops were called and nothing was done. This is the worse bar I have ever been to. So if ur looking to be assaulted by the staff and customers and treated like ur the one in the wrong. Then go here. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. PS. Even the cops said this place was no good and recommended other bars to go to bc of the reputation this one has for how they treat...

I’ve been a regular here for 7 years, and never once had an issue until now, under the new management. What happened to my family last night was absolutely disgusting and beyond unprofessional.

Security harassed my mom while she was simply holding the restroom door for my sick friend. They shined lights in her face, got aggressive, and even punched my friend Susie when she stepped in to defend her. Then they kicked out my entire family for no valid reason. Again they threw the first punch. Not only was humiliating but completely unacceptable because we did nothing wrong. To make it worse, my friends even lost their jobs over this incident, simply for being associated with us. After years of loyalty, this was humiliating, unsafe, and completely unnecessary.

This place used to feel like home, but the new management has ruined it. Loyal customers and decent people don’t deserve to be treated this way. If I could leave negative stars for this new...
