I'm a person who rarely offers poor reviews of places. I've been to this sonic often and I'm not sure what is going on with this location but they had me waiting for a mobile order for nearly 30 mins. We arrived checked into the stall and my name was clearly displayed. 10mins 15 mins go by and we press the red button for service let them know we've been waiting a long time for 3 drinks. They dont respond anymore after that and we continue to try to get staff attention. We tried to flag a carhop who assisted the vehicle next to us and she looked at us and continues to walk inside. We press the button for assistance again and it takes nearly 10 mins for someone to respond again. I understand businesses are extra busy currently due to covid but 30 mins for a $5 order of 3 drinks is just ridiculous. I finally get out of my vehicle to catch the same carhop who previously ignored us and finally had our drinks delivered to our stall. I went to the same location about a day ago and they also were not accepting anything but cash and I waited in the drive thru line for 20 mins. The whole reason I placed a mobile order the next trip and gave the place the benefit of the doubt. I'm wondering if I didn't have cash on hand I would've been stuck in my car for 20 mins just to get out of the line to leave. Read moreWorst experience ever. Went to the drive thru and waited ten minutes for anyone to even answer on the speaker. Several cars in front of me made and order and got theirs but I’m surprised they didn’t notice the gap between the drive thru window and the speaker. I called to complain, and it took about 10 rings before someone answered. I spoke to the manager to complain, and all I got was an excuse about a speculation of what may have happened. I told him exactly what happened. I pulled up to the speaker, waited 10 minutes, and then left. Judging by his tone of voice, I don’t think he had any emphasis on providing some kind of resolution to the matter. He explained that they were short handed and had some babbling about how the sensor may not have gone off to put me in the queue. I explained that no one even answered the speaker when I started talking to it (It was not a moving emergency so I chose not to use my horn). Read moreCurrently sitting at the stall as I write this I've been waiting for about 10 or 11 minutes when I placed an order for just two drinks. when I arrived there were four people in the Drive-Thru and by the time I was done ordering there were about two left. And slowly more and more people kept coming and somehow my TWO DRINKS ( HI-C, and 1/2 Sweet tea/lemonade). It's honestly pretty jarring how little attention managerial staff as well as maybe even go as far as saying general managers are paying attention to the speed of service because I've made the same complaint at the Sonic on Hondo pass when I was waiting over 20 minutes for two drinks (this is an extremely frequent occurrence to a point where I know if I don't have at least 20 minutes to spare (even if there's like only 4 people in line) I will not visit a Sonic because they take too long). Still writing this as I'm here I had to bring them again because it appears they had forgot about my order. Luckily I got it about 5 minutes later. After I had to tell them my order again.
