I am not sure how this restaurant is a 4.7. I opted to have a celebration lunch after a court wedding with family and it literally became a nightmare. I want to preface that I had actually gone to eat prior during the time of day we would be doing the lunch to ensure service and food was great. My first experience was good it wasn’t exceptional by any means as far as service, but the atmosphere was beautiful and the plate I got was good. I also noted the traffic in restaurant during that time which was no more than 3 tables filled at once. I made a reservation and the day of we had 3 more family members join us and instead of problem solving the host told me he didn’t know how he was going to do it because we would block the walk way so I gave him the idea of shifting the table back which ended up working. As we sit down I notice that they don’t have the lunch menus out it was only dinner menus and I ask why and they informed me that they were going through a price change so that’s why they didn’t place the lunch menus, but I just thought that was a bit unsettling that they made no mention of their lunch menu and had I not gone to eat lunch there before I wouldn’t have known and would’ve been misled to pay lunch pricing. We ended up getting the updated pricing for lunch items verbally and ordered. Our meals started to come out in small quantities, my plate was one of the first plates and my steak was cold, the rest of the table was still waiting for their plates so we all did not get to enjoy the meal together. Some people only got their sides and had to wait for their main entree for a long time. We also didn’t know their were shortages of food until the food started to come out. They apologized saying that because it was after Mother’s Day they had ran out of a lot of items on the menu. We returned all the steaks because they were all cold and we had to return twice an order of tacos because they kept messing up what the meat was. I went early to the restaurant to have them hold a small wedding cake and they placed it in the fish fridge because when I got it back during the lunch the box smelled like fish!!! At this point I talk to the manager and I told him that we had selected this establishment to celebrate something special and that I didn’t understand why there was such a delay in serving our items and the quality of service since we were the only table there. Not to mention there were several staff standing around and they only assign one waiter to our table of 15. The manager offered us desserts to make up for the issues and offered to comp the steaks because we returned our plates. At the end our waiter still tried charging us for the steaks that we didn’t eat and after a certain point we no longer saw the manager. As the organizer of this lunch I was completely embarrassed that this happened on such a special day. It’s a shame that the beauty of the space doesn’t match the quality of service or food. I would steer clear of this restaurant and support other restaurants that know what...
Read moreI start this with care…… I was looking for an upscale restaurant for the rare moments I have with my lady. The atmosphere is nice and higher class than normally found in El Paso. That ends the positives.
Upon arrival at the table it was set on a square with others similarly arranged. Felt very SQUARE. Upon arrival at my table my seat was ripped and my ladies plate was chipped. Ok. Asthetics…. The Sunday menu was extremely limited on paper and worse when it came time to order. No appetizers on the menu and no salad option of any type. NONE. No bread offered. Their best Waygu cut of beef, at 645 pm was sold out. Oh yeah so was the other two similar size (but lesser quality cuts). After eating her steak my lady commented they the franchise steakhouse “Texas Roadhouse” was a better prepared and juicy steak. When it came to order appetizers they have a papas española on the menu (the only potato option) but…… you guessed it. “We ran out.” Ok I said, I’ll salvage the night with a bottle of Opus one.” After 20 minutes…… guess what. “I’m sorry sir we don’t have that either. It happens on Sunday nights.” My steak ordered at medium came out medium well and was tough. My ladies steak, well done, (Why would anyone do that to a steak???) came out just like she liked it but her Texas Roadhouse comment sticks with me. (Franchise vs upscale) The Brussel sprouts were very basic and need lots of help. Do not recommend. They could improve it with a touch of sea salt and balsamic vinaigrette. When it came time to deliver the plates they were served in reverse to the guests. That I could fix and did. The staff is extremely young. For a classy restaurant there was no front of the house experienced leadership.
This restaurant has potential but the failings come down to management and planning. The staff effort was acceptable but they were set up to hit mediocre. Training, when I’m a customer willing to spend 1K per person, am not a “Dude”…. “Man.”
Finally, at the end of the night, no offer of desert or coffee or a digestive. The bones for success are here but I’m not sure I’d ever come back to find out if this place ever figures it out.
One final comment. Our server was a 9 out of 10. We tipped exceptionally as it is not his fault that aspired elegance hit the mark just below Texas Roadhouse.

Read moreI can't recommend this place and I probably won't be back on my own initiative. I personally didn’t find it lived up to the hype of the reviews. The appetizers were good, although the portions were very small. I wish they had shareable sizes. Had I known prior, I would have ordered more appetizers and the meal would have been timed better. Instead, I had to order appetizers twice and for some of my party, they were waiting without food for a while. The entrees were lacking. My pasta was way overcooked and just broke apart on the fork. I asked how accurate the Cooks are with getting the steak temperatures correct. We frequent steak houses and are extremely particular about the steak temperature. The waitress said that they were very accurate and if there was a mistake, they would take full responsibility and remake it if they had to. My brother ordered medium rare ribeye and they overcooked it so he let the waitress know. It was also a very thin piece of meat. Instead of recooking as the waitress said prior, the manager came and tried to convince us it was cooked properly which was uncomfortable. They eventually ended up recooking a different steak as they were out of the ribeye, but the porterhouse they swapped with was subpar quality. They brought the new steak to the table and it was refrigerator-temperature, cold. My brother had to ask for the waitress to heat it up further to medium rare multiple times and the waitress took it back finally. About 1/2 of the steak was pure fat. The sides were also not very tasty. We had the grilled veggies and they were unseasoned. We also had the truffle fries, but they didn't taste of truffles. I was really disappointed with our dinner, because it was my brother's birthday and instead of spending time catching up with him and my niece that I hadn't seen in 10 years, we spent most of the night going back and forth with the staff about the food. I also had to wait extremely long periods and wave over to the waitress several times for basic things such as drink refills, to get the check and to receive change. The waitress also gave me the incorrect change. Maybe a quick casual meal is OK, but I wouldn't risk bringing someone here on a special occasion. I will not be returning and wasting my money on subpar food. This restaurant looks fancy, but the food seemed low quality and was poorly executed...
