Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in El Segundo

I hate to write a one star review but I really didn’t have great experiences here. Last time we went through the drive-thru, came home to find out there’s a fries missing. It was just a fries, we were gonna just let go and forget about it. I glanced at the almost $20 receipt, I decided to ask my husband to call the store. The phone call was a breeze, they took his name and phone number, told him he could come back to claim his fries using his name and number. Today, we went, told the staff about it and they said no we don’t see your name. It’s probably over 30 days, we have a 30-day policy, you have to come back within 30 days. My husband said no one informed him about this, they just said sorry it’s the policy. My husband was disappointed and said “I guess we just don’t get what we paid for here.” Then someone came up, asked about the situation and decided to give us the fries. When the person handed the fries to us, he said, next time just remember there is a 30-day policy.

No, how about next time just don’t mess up orders and waste customers’ time. A 30 day policy requires customers to drive back and give more business to a Chick-fil-A that failed to deliver. The last time this happened at a Chick-fil-A in another state they gave us coupons with no expiration, not confused looks and impatience. Next time an item’s missed I’ll charge-back my card and require Chick-fil-A to drive to my house if they want payment for the rest of the meal, only valid within 30 days of course!

On to the food: the meat is extremely salty both times we’ve gone now, had to dip it in ketchup to tone it down. The fries barely crispy unlike what we get normally from other Chick Filets. The sweet tea was more like iced water with a teaspoon of sugar and a sprinkle of tea.

Impressed neither with the food...

I sat in line 2/2 for 20 minutes. Had work across the street in 25 minutes when I initially got in line. No one was standing outside to take my order, and at no point did I pass the order screen. I get to the window only for them to tell me they no longer stand outside to take orders, and instead of taking my order at the window, since I had been sitting for 20 minutes, they told me I had to get back in line. The cashier, Kimberly, was VERY rude and condescending. She then at my request, went and got her manager Genesis. Genesis was not any better she was just rude and condescending with a smile on her face. When I asked her for the number to corporate, because my time is valuable, and I had to work and could not get back in line she walks away for a long period of time, so long that they could've taken my order and given me my food. She then comes back and tells me she has no more cards, and that I just needed to look up Chick-fil-A cares, and that it wouldn't matter anyway because theyre independent location. I told her I didnt care, and she smiles and just says have a good day. The level of service that both of these ladies offered was not reflective of the Chick-fil-A customer...

I didn't eat went on an interview .. manager said he doesn't want me because he is building a team of leaders and I have no fast pace service experience .. I started I worked directory assistance for the city .. I was a city bus driver .. and I worked the conveyor belt in a meat packing factory ... So the young ladies that have never worked that didnt even know how to find the water button on the fountain drinks will be the perfect leaders .. I think I just wasn't anxious and jumpy enough he asked me questions that I have never been asked .. he asked where did I grow up .. how was my childhood ... He called my past supervisor to ask if I was on time ... Laughed when I said it seems like a happy place and I'm in human services so I'm looking for something mentally and emotionally lighter .. happier... And has just 1 process vs. each client needing a different outlook .. it kind of made me feel some type of way because I'm 40 I am recently not in a good situation and I have been working for 27 yrs I believe I can figure it out .. I just felt like I wasn't his type as far as me personally and I don't mean in a sexual way before ppl go overboard I mean personality .. age ... Logic...
