I unfortunately had to come update my experience as I am a little appalled at my recent visit.
I came to this location for my lunch break and decided to go through the drive-thru. Once I was at the speaker box, I informed the cashier that I would like to order a #1 (Giant fish sandwhich combo) with extra tartar sauce and add cheese. She asked if that was all, which I found weird because it should come with a drink, so I let her know that for my drink, I would like a sweet tea with light ice and add an order of jalapeño bites. She asked if that was all and then told me to pull around. When I got to the window to pay, she informed me my total was $11 and some change, so I handed her my card. When she gave me my order, I noticed it did not seem right. I opened the box to find 1 piece of fish (did she really charge me $11 for 1 piece of fish??). I let her know that I wanted a number 1, and I thought that was a fish sandwich. She then stated that I ordered 1 piece of fish, which kind of confused me since it did not sound anything like what I asked for. Her demeanor came off annoyed, which made me confused as I did not feel I had done anything wrong. She then requested someone to come to the front. A gentleman had greeted me and asked exactly what I wanted, and I repeated verbatim what I had said to the speaker box, a #1 with extra tartar and add cheese. I did let him know I also asked for the jalapeño bites and large sweet tea. He did correct the order, and I pulled off to make sure all was okay with my bank, which it was.
The parking lot down appears to need some attention, and there is noticeable debris and trash in multiple parking spots.
Positive The positive take to my visit is that my order was corrected promptly without excessive wait
Negative My experience as a whole was not pleasant.
Previous review:
This stop was very convenient and fast. The employees were very attentive and friendly. The dining area was clean and tables stocked with paper towels on their holders. The condiment station seemed to have had a couple of the sauces blended together in their dispensers, so I informed the employee, and they gave me packets for my meal so that I could have sauces to enjoy. The food was delicious and tasted fresh.
This location seems to be in need of updates, including the parking lot. The cabinet doors behind the register were off their hinges, and the drink station looked a little dirty and ran down. The food was delicious and...
Read moreThe food and atmosphere were good overall. As for the service usually it's okay but don't go there when it's an hour from closing because for some reason some of the employees to include, what appears to be the closing manager, acts as if that you are on their time so they insist you leave as soon as possible. Just the other night, I took my daughter there for a quick dinner. I already know they close at 9, so we were there by 8. Started to make our order and mistakenly the order prior had an issue where the cook said what they ordered only comes with 1 side not 2 so told the order taker that they need to charge them extra, on an order that was already completed. I get it that is wrong on how it was charged but the order was already paid for so at that point you just count it as a lost on the sales side and later train that new employee on menu. At best, you're a manager, so manage that business transaction with other current and potential future customers in mind. Went on our business of ordering our food and decided to eat in, did so and was about ready to leave, but I had to use the bathroom while my teen daughter sits waiting for me. While in there for maybe 2 minutes and I get a text from my daughter saying that one of the workers told her that they are closing and "you need to leave as soon as possible" and my daughter politely said she was waiting on me. I get out, and we leave, and when we get to the car, she then tells me more about the attitude they had when they said they were closing. I've worked fast food and had many times had customers there eating when we are close to closing just the lobby. All we ever did was let the customers know that we were "locking the doors and to let us know when they were ready to leave so that we can lock the door behind them". Never telling them the urgency of their departure. We also had no problem cleaning around where they are not just to continue with cleaning so that when they do leave is just a small area and little time. I can see where they are not being trained well by their closing manager as he seems the disgruntled type. A good manager does not allow the stress of the job to be expressed outwardly, just like I was taught working anywhere that directly deals with customers, and I was just a regular employee that experienced the stresses that are involved. I hope that some of them regain their better attitude that seems to have left when the...
Read moreEdit: Now sure why but this place is closing at like 9pm instead of 10pm. Even though hours posted on door at 10pm. Ive went here twice at around 9:20pm and both times I'm left at the speaker waiting. No one can say they are closed or anything.
I'm not sure what has happened to this location over the last year or so. I have gone to this one for many years, a couple times a year. Over the last year or so the quality of the food has been diminishing. At one point their fish has a weird dirty spoiled washrag taste to it. I never had to specifically say I wanted tartar sauce with my order up until early 2020. I left with my order and drove 20 miles home to find no tartar sauce in my bag. I went to a store and bought some. Next time I went they asked if I wanted any sauce and I said no. Thinking it was the "extra" caundiments they were talking about as stated on the sign on their window. Again I received no tartar but this time I checked as I received my order. This recent trip I had to wait a good 7-8 minutes for my order as I watched the girl working the register be on her phone for the duration of my visit. Seems she could have been doing something more productive to help speed up their "fast...
