If I could give less than one star I would. I arrived at the drive through at 8:00 pm. There was no one in front of me and the parking lot was not full. I was asked to hold. It was several minutes before she even got back with me to take my order. When I told her what I wanted she said there would be a 6 minute wait, that they would have to make it fresh. Her tone of voice she talked to me in seemed as if she was less than enthusiastic. When I got to the window she took my money and asked me to pull around to the front to wait, again in a very unwelcoming tone. I got my receipt, pulled to the front as instructed and waited...and waited...and waited. Eventually I looked at the time on my reciept. It said 8:12. The time was now 8:32. I had waited enough. I went inside to enquire about what the hold up was, and told her (same girl who took my order and money) I had been waiting in the parking lot for 20 minutes, a d she literally had the audacity to roll her eyes at me and asked if I had a receipt, as if I were lying. I pointed out the time on the receipt and what time it was then, so that they could see, it was in fact, now over 20 minutes. She snatched the receipt from my hand and looked at it, and said we're still waiting on the rice. I told her I felt that this was ridiculous and that I can no longer wait, and I would like my money back. She hollered to one of the other workers that she needed a refund. The next 5 minites it took all of them to figure out the refund were exceptionally uncomfortable to me as I had to wait while they whispered and snickered while getting me my money back. The icing was that after all this time of being treated as if I were the bother, as I was handed my money back, I was told to have a wonderful night, in the most condescending way possible. I wanted to snap. I wanted to speak to a manager. I wanted to tell them how rude and ridiculous this whole thing was. But I took my money and left. And I will never be back. Read moreEdited: Came back after the last review, two years ago, and still feel this is the worst panda express. Came during lunch this time and had many items not ready or available. Had the beef and broccoli and there were literally 3 pieces of beef and the rest was broccoli. When asked for more beef the lady said oh there’s some right there…. Pointing to the three pieces. Not only was this an issue but the chicken and green beans tasted as if they weren’t cooked long enough because the green beans were hard, waxy texture, and cold. My son’s orange chicken the inside of the chicken was cold as well. So not sure if they’re not cooking to proper temps, warmers not working, or just letting the food sit out to long before putting it under the warmer. The food is not like I have at other Panda Expresses, its by war worse. I was hoping after time had went by that things would have changed, but not so much, two years later and it’s still the worst place to eat in Etown.
This is the absolute worst Panda Express I have ever visited. Waited over 45 mins sitting in drive thru, after sitting inside waiting for 20 mins. The young man inside moved with no urgency even though the line was out the door. He seemed to be the only one working the front counter and yet it didn’t seem to bother him that people were standing there staring at him move like a snail. The drive thru wait was horrible over 45mins! So spent over an hour total waiting to get food. Not sure if they have a staffing issue but the people working don’t seem to be in any rush. Then the food through drive thru was smaller than normal portion sizes! They ran out of white rice, string bean chicken, and black pepper angus beef and it was 6:35pm during dinner time! UPDATED REVIEW: Just when I thought this location couldn’t get any worse, they surprised me once again. I now deliver for DoorDash and Grubhub and when I have to pick up from this location...I’m GUARANTEED to be waiting at least 30 minutes. They put the delivery orders last and make absolutely no effort to get in any kind of hurry. Today I arrived 20 minutes early and they informed me the ticket would not print until 10 minutes before the order is due. Fine. So I went and dropped off my other customers order and. And back. The order was still not ready. The attendant tells me they’re waiting on orange chicken after I’ve stood there for 10 minutes watching her take other customers orders. She tells me it’ll be about 2 minutes. After that, I waited 15 more minutes and watched all the employees but two stand around and talk and laugh about how busy they had been that day. There was maybe 4 customers inside the building at this time.
I finally receive my Grubhub order after a total of 30 minutes of waiting. I arrive to my customer and explain the situation and she informs me that Panda Express told her that her order had been ready and was waiting to be picked up. I was absolutely LIVID! This makes me look bad to Grubhub and to my customer. This cuts into other deliveries I could’ve been making and it affects my statistics and ratings within the delivery app.
This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from a restaurant and unfortunately, I know I will be dealing with this scenario again. I will be contacting Grubhub and the district manager for this location. I’m the meantime, I will avoid taking deliveries from here...
