The atmosphere isn't anything special, but the workers, more times than not, seem polite and don't show any signs of aggravation given that I always order my grilled chicken burritos with extra rice and a slew of various toppings. Very frequently, my toppings combined with the extra rice leads to burritos which can be difficult to wrap and I have, yet, to encounter any workers, at this location, who seem frustrated, aggravated or agitated given the complexity of the orders. The grilled chicken burritos are the only thing I order, so I can't speak for any other items on the menu, but those burritos are amazing and I always order two for myself so I can eat another one the following day.
I have only one complaint, the prices have gone through the roof. I can't remember the exact price I ended up paying, but, to the best of my recollection, my daughter and I ordered 3 grilled chicken burritos with extra rice (I believe that was the only thing that costed an added fee for each burrito), the grand total after tax came to approximately $45. For that price, I feel like we probably should have gone to a sit down restaurant and ordered steak dinners. It has been a little while since we went out for steak, so perhaps I am out of touch with the prices at steak houses now. Why go out for steak when I make steaks that taste better than any restaurant I can think of and I can get them from Walmart. At least, if we stayed in and went the Walmart route, I know we could have gotten steaks and fries for a little under $45. The inflation balloon needs to have somebody poke it with a sharp knife so we can get back some sort of normalcy. The prices for everything have gotten way to far out of hand and we need some adjustments made and fast.
I apologize for the rant, but the economy is something I could talk about for an hour without taking a breath. For this past 10 min of rambling, I say sorry to you, good day and may all your...
Read moreAll the reviews I see have some complaint about the staff or the lobby or how unhappy the staff look. Have you ever worked in customer service? Have you ever experienced how “rude” the customer can be just because the customer thinks they have the right? Have you ever thought that the staff hasn’t had time to get out to the lobby and clean it because they are behind the counter making your order or cooking food? Those workers don’t make the schedule their boss does so if there happens to not be enough staff at the time there is a lunch rush instead of complaining why not just pick up a rag and wipe off the table unless you think you are too good to do that.
Have you ever stopped to think that if they run out of a certain food it’s not the line workers fault? But who do you complain about? Do you really expect them to have a smile on their face while they are preparing your food as in some of the pictures have been displayed? Give me a break. You act like because they are not grinning from ear to ear that they are disgusted with their job.
Their job might not be the most glamorous but if it wasn’t for them working the place wouldn’t be open. So why don’t you stop your complaining. As far as the rating I’m sure you have eaten in other places where the rating hasn’t been 100%. But no you have to blast you negative comments all over the reviews when you didn’t know why or even the fact that things were corrected in short order. You would rather post a negative review to make them look bad.
Get a grip people... I bet anyone could come to your house or your work area and it would not be 100% clean and in order nor would you have a smile on your face the entire time you are at work so if you don’t hold yourself to those standards what gives you the right to hold other people. Unless you are perfect and the last I check none of us...
Read moreQdoba always hits right, especially those crispy salad bowls. But I don't know if it's this just this location or all over, but they're now uppity about your protein being half-chicken and half-steak.
"We can't do that anymore." It's so weird seeing a place where you have lots of customization options suddenly taking them away and being anti-consumer. With steak being the more expensive protein, just charge it as steak.
Do the owners have a strange religious belief where cow and chicken can't meet? What is going on?
Edit: Now, they've apparently taken Coke Zero away. They don't even got it as a bottle. Staff acted like I should have known this when they had it a couple weeks ago. They offered Diet Coke as if us Coke Zero drinkers would touch that with a ten foot pole. Staff seemed like they hated their jobs and they even gave me regular queso when I asked for Diablo.
I'm lowering to one star. I'm gonna go to another Qdoba if I want my fix, as this one is going backwards into the stone age.
Edit 2: I said this, but got a craving when I was in Etown to have my car serviced. Decided to risk it.
And wow, they got better. Coke Zero has returned. Seeing this, I asked for a soft drink with my order and they gave one on the house.
Didn't try to do the half protein. The hot chicken portion was a little skimpy; felt more sauce than chicken. And got regular queso though that was more because the app didn't offer it as an option. I see improvements, I raise the...
