Beware of their 20% “restocking fee”. It is a scam. Bought a scanner for $300.00 because the $154.00 one we wanted was out. 12 hours later came back for a refund. The scanner box was not used nor opened. I was shocked that they kept $62 restocking fee. I spoke to a blonde rude manager that seemed like she had Covid; she was putting up tools on the wall but constantly coughing on the tools. She refused to listen; lucky I recorded her rude comments for the court. She said the fee was on the receipt. Basically there are no signs and she said the cashier should have told me but did not. So if you buy the tool and paid; you decide 20 seconds later for a refund they just ripped you off $62. Scam!!! Came back the next day and spoke to Ed the Manager; waste of time and was ignorant. Told him would take to court. Funny because they will be losing by law 3 times of their scam. KY law states a person can sue for three times their loss for a scam. The back of the receipt clearly states the 20% restocking fee WILL be wavered if unopened. Key word - WILL!! Beware and record their ridiculous conversations on your iPhone like I did for Small Claims Court. Beware they are rude and incompetent scammers. They don’t post their 20% restocking “fee”anywhere on the scanners in order to deceive you and make money. I think they get a commission for the restocking fees they can scam out...

Good place for tools, as long as you do not require name brands. This is just a suggestion: I generally look up the tool or specific item I'm needing or just wanting and compare cost. If I find a name brand tool at a lower cost I will most generally purchase it, but that in itself doesn't mean that it's a better product. Just cheaper at the time. I will add that I haven't had any issues with the tools and products I have got from Harbor Freight. I do think if you watch closely you can find lots of fairly good welding products like grinder blades & brushes. But if you are looking for welding wire you can find a better brand at a much cheaper price elsewhere . In conclusion, I will say the the staff at the E-Town store are knowledgable of the products they sell and are very friendly & courteous. 2/5/24, I believe that their line of products has improved dramatically. Good place to shop. All employees I encountered were helpful if needed and all were appropriately masked and people were staying the required space apart as due to Covid 19 recommendations. All employees were nicely dressed and seemed satisfied with their job. I found the store very neat and tidy and I found easily what I needed. The store was well stocked with many different items to choose from. I thought they had several good bargains very reasonably priced. They usually have coupons and if you desire to they can send them as texts or emails to your smart phone. Shopping carts and hand held baskets were readily available. Plenty of good parking spaces and it was neat and tidy in the parking lot and at a good location being very close to other popular places to shop. Its definitely a great place to shop. Thank you...
