As a longtime patron of Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I've been consistently drawn to their refreshing smoothies and diverse menu offerings. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread have been less than satisfying, prompting me to share my concerns. One glaring issue is the inconsistent portion control, particularly noticeable when placing orders within the last 1-2 hours before closing. The most concerning aspect is the insufficient amount of chicken—barely four pieces, which seems disproportionately small given the $10 price tag. It's disheartening to see such a disparity in the serving sizes, impacting the overall value for money. Equally problematic is the lack of standard measurements for other ingredients. The absence of a consistent standard in ingredient portions results in an unbalanced and underwhelming flavor profile. For a dish that relies on the harmony of its components, the current inconsistency is disappointing.
To enhance customer satisfaction and maintain the integrity of their menu, I strongly suggest that Tropical Smoothie Cafe implements standard measurements for each ingredient in their Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread. This approach would not only ensure a more equitable distribution of toppings but also create a better dining experience for customers, regardless of the time of day.
I genuinely hope the management takes these concerns seriously and considers implementing measures to address both the portion control and overall quality issues. As a loyal customer, I look forward to seeing improvements that will restore my confidence in the consistency and value offered by Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Read moreI had an unpleasant experience today on 11-22-24. I am a vegetarian and have been for the last 15 years. ( I have not eaten meat in 15 YEARS). I usually come to this location two times out the week and get a hummus veggie, a smoothie and a cookie, today while eating my hummus veggie the wrap smelled funny and tasted kind of sour after two bites. As looked into the wrap to see what was going on. I noticed chunks of chicken in my wrap. I panicked ,I immediately asked like the cashier like why would you guys put chicken in a hummus veggie ,I got a hummus veggie cause l don't eat meat, Hannah and Cass was there but Hannah made the sandwich. While chough and feeling Like I had to vomit and my body started to feel weak. "She tells me to go to the bathroom to vomit ,". But I can't .Move because of the dizziness.I'm.Feeling. , there was no concern of my well being ,I was told. I could get another sandwich but no refund and was given an out dated coupon dated back to 2021. This was my favorite location,I don't even want.To come to this location any more, I would like a refund of all my money iam feeling sick dizzy and my head is pounding, , this was a very bad experience. I can't see how a person mistakenly puts meat on a wrap that clearly says veggie . This is horrible and sad please train employees to pay attention to orders ,I really can't see how a mistake is made with an item that says veggie. And. I don't think you all have a wrap that says veggie hummus with chicken. This is insane.

Read moreThis was my first time ordering from them. I ordered the Detox Island Green Smoothie, Green Goddess Flatbread w/ Garlic Herb Shrimp and Kale & Apple Slaw. I wasn’t a fan of the smoothie, it’s said to be naturally sweetened however, it wasn’t and it didn’t seem to have much flavor at all. The flatbread and slaw were pretty good. The service wasn’t all that great either, when I walked in it was empty and there were three young adults discussing what they wanted to order from somewhere...they acknowledged that I was standing there trying to figure out what to order and that was pretty much it. I had to repeat my order (not my thing). Personally, I would only order food if I were to eat here again. They’re on the expensive side...I spent a little under $17 for two items (slaw was a side with flatbread), I was about to cancel my order when I asked her to repeat the total and I don’t spend that much with a small business owner who owns a similar smoothie cafe. I went there since I was out and wanted to keep it healthy instead of ordering fast food or having to prepare...
