Way to go Texas roadhouse my husband my two kids brother-in-law is two kids and my brother ordered appetizers and drinks and then from there we ordered our food dinners. Everybody was eating laughing and talking and then I happen to find a hair in my baked potato right on my fork. When I picked it up it was very upsetting. I was not sure so when I grabbed it it was gray and black, I don’t know if it was the old man hair. I don’t know if it was some kind of animal sorry to say it, but it was disgusting. My whole family stopped eating immediately. I tried to hide it from them because I did not want no one to stop eating, but everybody seen it so immediately we called the waitress the waitress grabbed a paper towel to put it on. It fell somewhere on the table. She said oh my gosh, I’ll go ahead and get the manager. I’m very sorry manager came and all he did was apologize my bill came up to $220. I did not have no issue paying my bill if I did not find a hair in there in my whole family didn’t stop eating they did not do anything about it? It was very very disgusted. I paid $220 for my whole family to eat and we had hair in our food very disgusting. If you do go get a magnifying glass and examine all your food first apparently I spoke to the manager and he told me because if it happens, people aren’t gonna stop eating their food and it happened multiple times to him not sure if he was saying he went somewhere or if it was to their restaurant, but he told me if he was to go ahead with someone and they find her and their food that he is not going to stop eating his food, even if they have mashed potatoes and two separate plates and one pound hair and his mashed potatoes, he is not going to stop eating his food because it’s two different plates but then again when you go in a kitchen to cook, they cook everything in one pot one big pack of mac & cheese one big pot of mashed potatoes one big pot of spaghetti and then they played it. Very disgusting. Sorry to say because Texas roadhouse is my little girls favorite restaurant. She loves the bread and that’s why we went there, sorry for the bad but I felt it was necessary. I...
Read moreDid the family takeout meals to take home to my husband. The chicken tenders were a bit more breading than chicken, so they were sorta dry eating them. The rolls were a hit which typically is when we even dine in. We liked the flavor of the green beans and mashed potatoes that came with it as well. However, the pictures you see online of the sides look much bigger than what you are actually getting. The salad is an ok size, that comes in one of them to go containers but ours was just barely filling the bottom of the Styrofoam and lacked toppings. The green beans and the mashed potatoes came in this small cup side, just barely enough of both of those to feed 2 people, and their site says these should feed I believe 4 to 6... I don't know where they are getting the 4 to 6 because that means everyone would literally get one bite with the portion size they gave us; I should have taken pictures of them for reference. I was happy that they put the chicken tenders in a nice foil container to keep them warm on my drive home, so that helped them still be warm even by the time I got home. I also suggest not having the special instructions option on the order form if your workers aren't going to look at it. We had asked for peanuts so we could take some home and over to our grandparents next door and we got none! My email also stated to pull up to their drive thru "shed" and there was a sign up that said it was closed, so I continued to go in and let them know I was there for an online order, they showed me where to stand and that was where I stood for 5 minutes before someone asked what the name on my order was. I had received the text that stated everything was ready shortly after, the girl asked me what the name was on the order and proceeded to state that it wasn't ready and that I will receive a text when it is. I followed up letting her know that I had already received a text, she rolled her eyes and went back and gathered everything up. Nothing stopped me from not wanting to come back in the future, but just some things to maybe touch up on and make things better for...
Read moreUpdate as of March 1st 2019: This is my final review and I'm sure the manager will be happy about that. This place used to be a good, decent restaurant. Good, quality food and service. Excellent steaks. But over the last year to year and a half, things have really gone downhill. I'm not going to comment on the service or meals in the restaurant except to say the place is always crowded, you will have a wait for a table most times, and the place is quite loud. What I will comment on is the carry out service. Everytime I have gone in and placed a take out order, it has been at minimum of a 25 minute wait. One time I waited 60 minutes for them to get my take out order done (for 2 people). I would not call the order in by phone ahead of time in an effort to speed things up. The place is so loud, I don't trust that the person taking my order can hear me well enough to get my order correct. The next problem is always... always... always check your order yourself before you leave with it. I have never gotten a take out order yet that was correct; they always forget something. Not a little something, but things like a baked potato or a side salad, etc. Finally this place used to be the place for steaks. But in the last year and a half, the quality of their food and most importantly, the steaks has gone downhill. It's almost as if they have taken on a "quantity over quality" attitude. The steaks are tougher, not cooked to order, cold, and they just don't seem to care. Customer service is definitely not job #1 here anymore. It's too bad, because it used to be. Time to find a new...
