Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Bar — Restaurant in Elkhart

The dining experience here was like no other. The staff were incredibly friendly and got our order out quickly and efficiently. The chips and salsa were divine. The chips came out warm and melted in your mouth. The salsa was a perfectly balanced red salsa, with heavy cilantro and not much spice it paired perfectly with their chips!

The horchata is simply the best! I've been to almost every mexican restaurant in Elkhart, and their horchata beats everyone so far. It was perfectly spiced and it reminded me of the horchata my grandpa used to make when I was younger.

I ordered an appetizer of their choriqueso. The cheese and chorizo were perfectly spiced with the right amount of salt. I also got an appetizer of tortilla soup which was delectable.

For the main dish I had birria tacos. They were very delicious, it came out with consome which was very light on the cinnamon. It had no goat flavor typical of extremely authentic birria, but it still tasted amazing!

Our server was a very nice man who made us feel relaxed and welcome. He did a very nice job although he did take our menus a little to early as we didn't order any side dishes. I don't fault them for this though as it's a brand new restaurant and their servers may not be familiar with how to work at a restaurant. With that aside, we made a request for our sides after he took our order and he promptly ran to the kitchen to accommodate us.

My fiance had carne en su jugo, which means "meat in it's juice" literally. It was so indescribably delicious I can't even write a paragraph about it!

All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to return for their delectable horchata and to try other...

I stopped by for lunch after going to the botanical gardens with my girlfriend for my birthday. My daughter recommended the place. I’ll never go there again. I had a simple, two tacos, rice and beans I had ordered soup which I never got and then there was a piece of plastic in my rice when I confronted the waitress after getting her attention She just said oh let me go ask the cook, then came back and told me it was onion. I begged to differ it was stretchy and it was plastic about 3 inches long. I was compensated Buy them taking about three dollars off of my bill after looking at my bill. My girlfriend noticed we were overcharged for our margaritas. We ordered the special Was so it was supposed to be $4.99 each I was charged like 2580 for three of them so then when we asked it was because I had flavor which I wasn’t told about however they did take that off as well. I still did not compensate for my meal and I was never told I am so sorry this happened to you. I don’t think I will be...

De. Li. Cio. So! I went on a date there, and everything was wonderful! We received great service, and our food was soooo delicious. My man got fajitas Jalisco I think, and I got the burrito real dinner. Sooo delicious. My man ordered a specialty drink that had a corona dumped in which looked super cool; I ordered a piña colada with a beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was chill, good music playing in the ambience, the Mexican art was colorful and pleasing to the eyes, the patrons fairly quiet. I noticed they have musicians that would come in, and if you pay them they would serenade your table! I will get them next time for sure. Keep in mind the musicians aren't always there. My one (an only!) issue, was that I didn't like the way my piña colada tasted - it tasted like straight up sugar and not like piña :( . I honestly should have told the waiter, but my man ended up drinking it anyway...
