Was in the car with my mom. She went in and came back out minutes after to call her bank. Come to find out, the bank messed up her card stuff with her account (which she had NO control over at all whatsoever) and she couldn't get the food. She didn't have cash on her so had to leave the food. When she came back out, she was holding back tears. I asked my mom what happened and she told me that the woman behind the counter snapped at her asking her what she was supposed to do with the food. Then she proceeded to tear into her even more and tell her to make sure that she had cash next time. My mom has been dealing with surgery complications for over 2 years and is in the process of getting her disability. That so called woman treated my mom abominably, and that should NOT have happened. I called in to talk to the manager and the woman refused and asked me why I wanted the manager. I told her that I wanted to talk to the manager not an employee. She hung up on me after saying that they didn't have a manager. I called back again. She snapped at me and hung up on me again. I called once more and talked to the gentleman cook. He explained a bit to me about the current state of the restaurant, apologized to me profusely, and took my number to give to the owner to contact me to talk to him or her about the issues today. I've never eaten there. However, after this experience, I never will. Any business that doesn't know how to treat their customers with respect no matter what comes up, doesn't deserve my business nor the business of my family. I don't run my business that way, I don't treat people that way. I expect the businesses that I support with my business to act accordingly and not treat their customers the way my mother and I was treated today. I gave them 2*s ONLY because my mom said that their food is the best Chinese food she's had. I myself will never know that myself. If I don't in fact hear from the owner like the cook said I will, I will take this complaint and issue to a different branch. The way that my mom was treated with her current mental state due to her ongoing medical issues quite frankly could've sent her into a place where she could be even more mentally/psychologically damaged. That type of treatment not only shouldn't be tolerated, but can cause the individual to break down and go into self harm stages if they're NOT in the right state of mind. This treatment IS DANGEROUS!!! I don't recommend this place at all based on the treatment my mom experienced inside the restaurant and my experience...
Read moreYes, while the food is really good here, BUYER BEWARE! They charge out the nose for dishes that are normally reasonably. For example, their fried rice. If you order their fried rice, there is literally nothing in it! What we all have come accustom to with fried rice is that carrots, peas, bean sprouts and egg are all part of that dish. If your lucky, you might get 3 peas in a quart size fried rice or maybe a scant showing of egg, maybe a half teaspoons worth. But if you ask them to put more peas or egg in it, they charge you $2.00 for each addition. So in order to get your fried rice up to what it is suppose to have in it, you will be paying $22.00 or MORE for your fried rice. What a rip off! While their food is good, it is not worth the money when it comes to their fried rice. The rest of their food is really good and reasonable. I just think King Wha drank the kool-aid when it comes to their fried rice. What a shame because I really like their food but they won't...
Read moreWhat can I say about King Wha. "They had a bad day" My good friend treated me out for brunch today. Service was awful. Kim told the young lady that her food was nasty. It really was. They passed words and we left. All the food and 2 $2.50 cans of diet Coke. Constructive criticizing is always welcome in my world. I stopped and told the young lady that I wasn't satisfied either. She explained that they changed the soy sauce and customers have been complaining about the fried rice. She also said that the customers just need to add salt and pepper. Not the answer that I wanted to hear. Customer service is the key for returning customers. They should make sure the food is seasoned. I have been there more than once. I loved the shrimp fried rice and egg foo young. Customer service sucks. They need to get the right soy sauce and apologize for...
