This has been my go to bar for years. The new weekend bartenders are just awful and rude. I sat for 15 minutes no one served me out of the two bartenders. They talked to me but kept serving other people even a new group that just walked in. I asked if they aren’t serving my side of bar and the dude working said “we are better at serving over here” pointing to in front of the cash register. Is this new? The 'Shoe has become my go-to bar in Ellensburg.

The drinks are cheap, the service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and they have great pub grub.

The Horseshoe is one of the few places in Ellensburg to go shoot pool, and the tables are level, flat, and open! The cues are straight, which is really a rarity on free tables.

The environment is laid back, and you end up getting to know people after coming in a few times.

I can't recommend the Horseshoe any more strongly.

Bartender is always busy talking and never comes to your table for service and cleaning up any used glasses or drinks you must do it yourself and if you do get her attention your drink is late and weak. DO NOT ORDER FOOD, if they feel like making anything the oil is old and tastes like it, my chicken wings were not only still raw but slightly frozen and was told that next time I come in I will get compensated but that never happens because I'm told oil is old and no good.
