Vinman's Bakery — Restaurant in Ellensburg

Can I please just tell you how great Vinman's Bakery is? It would be enough that the baked goods are outstanding and crazy delicious, but there's more. My friends and I were riding our bikes through Ellensburg as part of a bike tour. We'd never been to Vinman's, but we found it on a map and it looked great. Well, we're there buying gorgeous cinnamon rolls, brownies, focaccia, and danishes. Then as we're talking they find out it's our first time to Vinman's and they announce that when anyone comes for their first time they get something free. So they cheerfully insist that each of us take a free item from the case! Outstanding customer service and generosity. I just wanted to thank them and sing their praises. By the way, the cinnamon roll was light and fluffy, with perfect flavor and density; the brownie was one of the best I've ever eaten in my life, and the focaccia olive bread melted in my mouth. Also, they serve Cafe Vita coffee, which is the best around and an important indicator of quality. Vinman’s Bakery has some of the best customer service around. I’ve been in many times, and I’m always greeted with a smile that often turns into a quick, warm conversation.

On my most recent visit, I mentioned I was bringing pastries to family, and they went above and beyond. They packed everything in a sturdy pastry box, placing the hot bread in a paper bag, and even giving me a plastic bag and tie for later. They also offered a complimentary pastry and a bottle of water since it was such a hot day.

We are from Iowa. We stopped to see what all the fuss is about per Nick Zentner's Geology YOUTUBE videos. Now we see why so many people show up for his events. Free Vinman's! Just kidding. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. Because we had driven close to 3,000 miles to try their wares they pitched in an equal amount free. In today's age, when was the last time that happened. We were more than satisfied with what we purchased, It's like going back in time. Who wouldn't...
