Worst experience ever tonight I asked the waiter to cook my steak on the flat only well done I don’t want no char on my steak so I didn’t want it cooked on the grilled he told me they only had a grilled so he brings me back a bloody steak blood all on the plate but the steak was burned as well he walked up to the table says that’s not well done I’ll take it back get it cooked more I said if u cook it more you will burn it more I found the kitchen manage spoke with her asked if they had flat grill she told me yes I said well the waiter told me Yall did not and that’s how I asked for my steak to be made but instead it got cooked on the grill it was bloody and burned she asked if I wanted a new steak I said yes and I want cooked on flat top only and I’ll take it to go she comes back 10 mins later with the same steak but more burnt it was so black I don’t understand why they would even try to serve it to me she said if they cook it on flat tap it will take longer I said just refund me my money back not only did I ask for a new steak cooked how I asked for it to be cooked but she brought me back the same steak with excuses if a customer asked for their food to be a certain away the customer should get what they want no matter the time it takes by time they brought me the same burnt steak my family was already done eating then I spoke to general manager he didn’t care not one bit he didn’t care that my experience was shitty as hell and that I didnt get to enjoy my dinner with my family but he made sure all the white people was okay and they food was on point not no apology issued or anything this Texas road need to have a better system when it comes to messing up people food the waiters should not tell the customer how they can’t get their food made it don’t make no sense I called and ask for cooperate number and the general manager and kitchen manager names and they refused to give it to me poor customer service poor food this don’t make no sense and these people need to be held accountable for how they treat their black customers not only did they loose a sale but they had to throw away food unless they gave it to the next customer smh just terrible and I’m going all the way to the top with this...
Read moreWe were told they don't take reservations so, we took our 77 yr old parents out for dinner ( party of 5) were told it was a 15 min wait which was fine until an African American girl comes over and says we can't wait inside. Mind you, we were not in ANYONES way. I told her I didn't want my 77 yr old mother waiting out in the 90° weather. Her response, we'll, you can stand in the small entrance area ( which is just as bad as standing outside) but you can't stand here. THEN we had Horrible service, my food was extremely overcooked and,15 minutes after we had ask for to go boxes, my father had to walk up to her and asked again ( we observed her standing at a table with someone she obviously knew having a casual conversation). My husband ended up getting the boxes himself for us because even after being asked a second time she continued her conversation.Then she FINALLY brings our check and the meal that I had asked to be removed because I didn't eat it was still on the check so we had to wait again. I also observed the family of 4 that came in at the same time we did wait for at least 10 additional minutes to be seated when there were at least 5 tables in the area we were seated that were available. We were using paper napkins for our rolls because the small plates weren't given to us until we got our drinks. Read moreLet me start by saying I normally love eating at Texas Roadhouse, however my visit on 6/28 may just have me rethinking my decision to dine here in the future. We were seated at a table in the process of being cleaned, the table and seats were still wet. Ewe. Then when our server showed up there was no greeting and said the words a server should never speak.... "What would you like to drink?" All the while we are sitting next to a party table that had food and debris left underneath. my mother in-law very kindly asked our server if anything could be done about the mess and we're answered with excuses like "the busser is supposed to do that" and " I don't know why it hasn't been done, maybe they are on a break" Umm, I've been in food service all of my life and it is the responsibility of the server to keep their "real estate" looking clean and comfortable. Sorry but it looks nasty..... She refills our beverages and comes just short of slamming the glasses down on the table..... I wanted to leave right then and there...... About 10 minutes later our actual server does begrudgingly sweep up the mess. I hope it was worth damaging her gratuity by arguing the situation, and she did damage her gratuity seeing as how I walked in planning on tipping my usual 25% I'm surprised if she received 10% seeing as how I usually do the tipping and I refused to in this particular case.
