For years we have visited this location at EI. It has always been one of our favorite spots and we eat here multiple times within a one-week visit.
Consistently the customer service has been sub-par, and sometimes plain awful. BUT, we like the food, so we "deal with it" and eat and ignore the abundance of rude teenage girls that work there. Every summer, different workers, same BAD attitudes. Check previous reviews, most mention the awful and rude workers at this place.
BUT TODAY, our third visit in a week, we decided we will NEVER spend our money here again OR recommend it to others. A blonde worker, Ava (that's what she said her name was), was downright unprofessional, rude, and very condescending. A scene almost erupted in the middle of this busy restaurant.
It was packed, there were NO tables open (other than two dirty, trash filled booths that needed to be cleaned and a couple tables for large parties). My fiance and I didn't want to take up a large party table out of consideration for others waiting to sit down, so we sat at a two-top right outside of their restrooms. We had no salt/pepper at our table, so my fiance grabbed some off a dirty table that wasn't being used. Ava told us the other tables were more important (even though we spent 30 dollars) and we couldn't use it. She proceeded to mock us, call us "dude," and eventually told us "fine, have the stinky bathrooms if you want." Much more things were said, but for the sake of the review, I will just say, she was the rudest person we have EVER had contact with at an establishment. It was embarrassing. Any management should NOT tolerate this.
If you eat here- BEWARE- the workers are RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and lack ALL SOCIAL SKILLS. Not worth the decent pizza to be treated as trash.
AVA, you will go nowhere in life with the character you have. As a person who worked in the food industry for 10 plus years, you are awful. Rude. And barely deserve your minimum wage paycheck. Which is probably all you'll ever make, as the real world will chew you up and...
Read moreCalled to place an order for carry out tonight at about 8pm. We asked the girl how long the wait would be as the other pizza place we called said it would be over an hour and half and we didn’t want to wait that long so we wanted to verify our wait time before we placed our order. She was very rude and stated that it would be about 20 minutes so we decided to go ahead and order. She asked us for our name and we told her Cameron and she asked us to repeat it so we did and she said okay. We arrive to the restaurant and tell the girl at the counter that we have a pick up order and she asked for our name so we tell her. She looks around every where all confused like and asks us to repeat the name and then asks what we ordered. She then asks if we are sure we called an order in and the cook then proceeds to ask us what phone number we called because he wants to verify that we actually called an order in. My boyfriend called on his phone and had left his phone in our car so he went outside to get it and the cook proceeds to tell me in a very ugly tone that the only name he has for what we ordered was Henry but then proceeds to read off our phone number and I tell him that is our number and that I specifically told the girl our name twice over the phone and he proceeds to get an attitude with me and says that he’s not the one who answers the phone so he can’t do anything about that. They are finishing up our order as we are paying for our food so we wait for it to be done and when it is ready the same cook brings our box over to the counter doesn’t even say here is your food and throws it down on the counter and walks off. I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and am very disappointed in the service I received from Michaelangelo’s tonight and if I ever receive the disrespect I received tonight I will never return to this establishment and will godly take my hard earned money elsewhere. This was absolutely uncalled for as it was an error on their end...
Read moreThe 1 star is only because my husbands meatball sub was hot and delicious but the pizza was cold and the fried pickles were soggy; however, we were told our delivery order would take 45 minutes but it was over 2 hours until the food arrived! This was the second chance we gave them after ordering a few days earlier. I called and asked the girl taking the order if I could add tip on my card and she said of course. I proceeded to place my order and when they finally got my card info they said ok we will be there in 45 minutes. I said ok but I didn't get a chance to add tip and you didn't get my phone number. The girl said she misunderstood and I again asked if I could add tip on my card and I was told no actually I could only pay the total on my card so I would have to come pick it up. I stated again that I couldn't do a delivery if I couldn't add tip on my card and she said well do you want to come pick it up and I said that I guess I will have to. I loaded up my 4 year old and drive the 15 minutes to the store. When I got there they said they didn't have my order in the store and did I call the right number. I said I did and that I had actually already paid. One of the employees said ,"oh God," and the I was told that my order had actually gone out for delivery. I ended up having to drive back home and the poor delivery guy had to wait for us to get back. This place...
