We got hungry for a Filipino Fiesta (feast) but I didn't feel like cooking all the different dishes that I want just for the three of us; Kare-kare, fresh Lumpia, dinuguan with puto, sisig, pancit, bibingka, ginataang bilo-bilo and of course garlic fried rice. So off I went three cities east of us (11 miles) to get the food we're craving. It's like a Pinoy buffet but with left-overs. Fred is so happy with KK Orient Valley Food Center in Escondido, CA. Had to also ask what dialect or where in the Philippines is the style of cooking is from and one of the workers said Ilocano. So, I'm Ilocano and the Ilocano longenisa I know is with vinegar flavor and not like a hot dog. Oh well. The suman was equally as good too.
Service was great and there's a little market for some Asian items. I will definitely return to try the...
