Lack of transparency and greediness is the reason for this review. Based on California Code, Civil Code - CIV § 1748.1 it is Ilegal to charge extra to the consumers that use debit or credit card as a form of payment. Even though at a local level this business puts the expense of the business and more on the customer cost. This business chargers a 4% debit & credit card fee on top of the total of the purchase including taxes. This is an expense the business should be covering itself just as they cover other expenses, the business chooses to have this service “convenience” of accepting debit and credit card in order to keep running the business however when the merchant service “clover” chargers them 2.5% + $ 0.10 fee per total transaction. The business is not only having customer pay extra for the “convenience”plus pocketing the difference. Now multiply that per each customer that spends between $10-$20 minimum. Lastly this same business then reports these fees as write offs on their taxes. To each their own but as in for myself not taking my business...

Have visited/ordered several times. Last time was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Ordered a Torta Cubana with no Mayonnaise(allergy to raw egg) and no lettuce. Cashier ask cook if they could prepare it as requested. Got a flat and rude (yelled at me from the kitchen) NO.

Was told that when they receive the bread in the morning it’s prepared with mayonnaise for the rest of the day. All bread has mayo.

Had eaten a Torta Cubana from there before (with same request) and got sick. Guess now I know why.

On a separate note the young cashier (unfortunately don’t know her name) is very nice and friendly.

As for the other “older” ones, they are rude, disrespectful and up to a point very confrontational.

Never going back or ordering to go.

Fantastic food and service every time!

Been coming here over a year and visited many times. Haven't been disappointed once. The food is always fresh, consistent, and most importantly, delicious!

The carnitas plate is our go to, and our favorite carnitas...flavorful with crispy edges...yum! It's enough to share...we do that now, as one for each of us was too much and put us in a food coma!

In addition to great food, the service is superior, and when compared to other taco shops, it's phenomenal! Employees are always friendly, food is ready fast, dining area always clean, salsa bar always stocked.
