This was an unexpected stop we did. When you walk in its not much to look at. In fact it may make you turn around but I definitely recommend taking the time to try them out. The pricing for the food is amazing. Sushi between 5 to 10 dollars for 9 rolls. They were well made and the portions were amazing. We had the Fuji rolls, shrimp tempura, and the Philadelphia. We also order the bento chicken teriyaki. It brought a really tasty sweet and vinegar cucumber, rice with sesamine seed on it, California rolls and the teriyaki. The host who is also the cashier lady was super friendly. Very attentive. Always came up to see if we needed anything else. She added no extra charge 2 miso soup for us which was super nice of her considering we had our son with us. Two stars because the gentleman who helped me was very kind. But seriously this was some of the worst food I've ever had. Ordered a Togo beno box and the chicken was literal jerky. I had no idea you could over cook chicken into leather. I'm blown away by how dry and leathery the chicken was. That chicken had to been waiting for me for a week. It tasted so old. The tempura was so overwhelmed by batter alot of it was still raw inside. The California roll tasted like an Albertsons roll that was 2 days old. The cucumber salad was limp and soft like fruit chews it was so off putting. The only thing that was really edible was the rice. I paid 11 dollars to not have anything on my plate be remotely edible. Usually get their Sushi because it's such a great value. I love thier California and shrimp tempura rolls (they are big and fresh). The owner is very friendly and service-oriented. They also do Chinese food and I decided to try the owner's recommendation of dynamite shrimp. It is truly one of the best shrimp dishes I've ever had. The flavor is unbelievably good and I can't quite put my finger on the magic ingredients, but it blew my mind.
