I spent several minutes waiting at the counter to place my order while the three employees went about their business. Two were working on the pending orders and the third seemed to be doing nothing. No one said a word to me during the entire period of awkward silence I spent with wallet withdrawn to indicate that I was ready to part ways with some money. At one point, one person finished a smoothie while another girl held a lid in place above the cup, determined to place the finishing touch on that smoothie in an inspiring display of teamwork.
I thought my time had come to order, but she quickly grabbed a mop and absconded to the back room. In a moment that only Patrick Swayze might appreciate, I checked with another customer to ensure I wasn't a freshly made apparition. After the confirmation, I left and received prompt service down the street at Chipotle.
It was a strange 10 minutes! I now do fairly well to prepare my own smoothies in the morning for fear of another otherworldly Jamba Juice experience.
Next time, please say hello at least. I'll wait.
EDIT: I was curious about the response below asking for feedback, so I bit and emailed them. As others have mentioned, I received no reply at all. Unless they reply, I can't help but suspect that this is a...
Read moreJust wow. Where do I start? I mistakenly chose to bring my 3 year old here for a fruit smoothie as a healthy treat after a dentist appointment. There were 2 employees in the back, neither of them said anything to us, aside from bringing me the restroom key. The restroom was DISGUSTING 🤢. It was very obvious that it had not been cleaned for some time. There was a mold ring around the inside of the toilet, overflowing trash can, floor and sink were filthy.
You place your own order on a tablet at the counter, which is fine, but then it asks you for a tip 😅. They don’t have child sized options, so I got the smallest which was 16oz. I personally feel that is a little ridiculous. For having 2 employees in the back and no other customers, it took too long. My toddler was losing it, so when it was ready I grabbed it and headed out the door. When I looked at it, it had large visible chunks of unblended fruit, which wouldn’t come up through the straw, making it a very frustrating situation with a toddler. To top it all off, the smallest smoothie with no add ins cost 10.44!! Like, WHAT??!! They don’t even use organic fruit.
In the end, totally on me for not looking up the prices before hand I suppose. Anyways, 0/10, do...
Read moreThe prices are pricey. I enjoy the Pumpkin Smash, but I can't afford a daily habit, or even weekly; a good smoothie does make a nice treat or replacement meal when out and about.
Update: I believe the young folk working here are doing the best they can, with what they are given and what they have to do.
I have gone back, because I appreciate the JJ associates and how hard they are working. They are doing their best to keep up, keep calm and keep kind.
It was very busy today, and a bit hectic; it appeared that there was many call in and/or someone buys and someone else flies orders.
It would be helpful to the top shelf JJ associates and customers if there was a separate station for pick ups+. Perhaps have a dedicated spot for any and all pick-ups; station associate/s whos primary focus is to fill those orders and stage, in fridge, for pick ups. I've witnessed walk-ins and pick-up people bumping heads, confused and/or frustrated; frustrated because someone thinks their order was skipped/forgotten.
Again, the folks in front are...
