I placed a mobile order to this location, a 24 hour restaurant. The total for my order was $42. I hit the make food button in the app and drove to the restaurant. I pulled into the drive-thru, with only one car ahead of me at around 5 in the morning, the employee immediately told me she wasn’t taking anymore orders because she was too busy and didn’t want to make any more food. I tried to explain that it was already ordered and paid for but she refused to make the order anyway. I asked for a refund and she refused to give me one and claimed she couldn’t do that and basically told me too bad, I don’t get my food or my 42 dollars back. I tried calling different numbers and filing online complaints and requested to be contacted about the matter but was never contacted and never able to reach anyone. I finally got ahold of the manager at that restaurant the following day and she said to come back to the location for my refund. She said if she wasn’t there’s an employee would handle my refund and that she would be sure everyone knew I would be coming for one. I showed up the following day, the manager was not there and not a single employee knew about the issue. The employee I spoke to told me they can’t give refunds because the money doesn’t go to their store. She said if she refunded me they’d come up short at the end of the day. That doesn’t completely even make sense, how does that restaurant not get the money for an order the sell? Frustrated, I asked what I need to do she said to call the company, I explained I already had and I was told to come to the restaurant. She also basically said too bad, I don’t get my refund. I have the initial incident on recording. I have the employee on recording refusing to give me my order and refusing to give me a refund for no reason other than she didn’t feel like cooking the order I had paid for. She literally said that. And I have proof of what happened. I’ll be sure everyone hears this. Jack in the box on Everett ave is a joke, a poorly run business that flat out steals from their paying costumers and doesn’t offer any help when something goes wrong on their behalf. 42 dollars is a lot of money to just let someone take from you. Read moreI would give negative starts if I could. I ordered food from here before, but never again. I knew some one that had just got hired there, and was working their 1st day of training. The manager that was supposed to be training him had told him to wait until he (the manager) comes back. The manager went to the bathroom for more than 45 minutes. Not a single person is asking him for help or showing him what to do. The manager comes back and fires him. The mom shows up and ask why is he fired... And that manager told the mom "We aren't here to babysit him".
This effects my whole idea towards jack n the box. I was a fan of jack n the box for many years, but I started to go out of my way to other fast foods just because of this incident. This happened over a year ago, and I haven't been to a jack n the box since... This is the everett jack n the box across from qfc... I even planned to go to this jack n the box and just about made it to the drive through, but then I remembered the incident, so I left and went to wendys multiple times.
(edit) There have been times that I complained about getting sick from jack n the box food (I actually did, I think 3 times total over like 20 years). And yes, I did get a coupon and used the coupon... But for this event to happen, this is the end of the rail road track. I was a paying customer and i was using the bathroom and to touch up my makeup and i was in there for no more then 5 mins and the manager started to beat on the door and if i had not locked the door she would had came straight in by using that buzzer behind the counter.... Witch is a total invading my privacy which is against the law... when she was pounding on the door I was using the toilet.... And when I left the restaurant in fear I had called the store not knowing it was a manager that was beating on the door i asked to talk to the manager and she was the one that was beating on the door.... When I had mentioned my complaints she hung the phone up on me with no apology nothing.... I'm was a paying customer I'm never going to go back to that restaurant ever again... I'm going to tell everyone that I know not to go there either... So Jack you can thank her for losing all these customers.... Which will be my family and friends and their family and friends and their family and friends and friends and family and family such a lot of money for one lady that was so rudely not to ask me kindly to hurry.....
