Mama's Famous Pizza and Grill Exeter — Restaurant in Exeter Township

I’ve been a long time fan of the Sinking spring and kenhorst Mama’s for years. Always good food very minor complaints if any. However I must say this newer one left me disappointed yesterday. I ordered online and even selected a later time than soonest available. I show up at my scheduled ahead time and see it’s very busy which I expected for a Friday totally understandable. I go in and give my name saw lots of orders were ready for pickup. The girl at the counter looks around and comes back saying it will just be a few more minutes. Completely fine again I understand they are busy and thinking “hey it will at least be very hot and fresh”. I stand off to the side for 20 minutes then the girl asks me again for my name and order number and looks for my food with another girl. A bag with my wings which had been sitting there since I came in and my pizza which was sitting on top of another box on top of the oven since I came in is what they grab and tried to say sorry that the cooks didn’t tell them up front that it was ready. It was literally there and done before I walked in! The girl even looked at my bag with wings but didn’t even check the pizzas. Now it was cold and I had wasted time standing there. Absolutely disappointed I understand small issues and being short staffed but that was just negligent and absolutely horrible first impression of this particular restaurant I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because that’s just basic...

Decided to try this place and the experience was less than great. I called to place the order and the woman taking my order was not nice, she cut me off halfway through to give me my total and went to hang up, I had to quickly tell her I was not done ordering and she responded with a big sigh like she was annoyed and the ordering was totally rushed. She told me it would be 30 minutes, as I only live 5 minutes away I waited about 15 minutes and headed over to be early. When I arrived all the food was sitting out but they forgot the slice of pizza and told me I never ordered it (I absolutely did, but she was rushing so she missed it.) Then they said I could wait for it to be warmed up but have the rest of the food sitting out or just take the cold slice home, so I took the cold slice. Turns out that didn’t even matter though because almost all of our food was cold! The only thing that was even warm was the cheesesteaks. It’s a shame, if the food would have been warm it would have been really good but between cold food, forgetting part of the order, and the overall attitude of the workers we definitely won’t...

I ordered Chicken Honey mustard panini, grilled chicken salad, and some slices to go. When I came to pick up the food (after the time they told me) there was one person at the counter, speaking with customer on the phone for 7 minutes. No one else came to help her. When I said what I ordered, the said it will be few minutes. The paying was in the oven and salad still needed to be made. Ok I get it, busy time, less people working. Got the food home. Slices were fine, and salad not the best, the chicken was not warm at all. My Panini, which is the reason we went to Mama's, was horrible. I think it was made a lot earlier and just reheated. The chicken in the middle was mush, and actually when I looked at it... it was only breaded part of the chicken. It's like someone sliced the top of chicken tenders and put it into the panini. (Most of what was in the panini was the breading) I asked for extras sauce, therewas barely any in it.
