The photos I saw online and the menu made me run here ASAP.
I had the Quattro Amici Sandwich and a slice of Pistachio Pesto Pizza.
The pizza was very good. Nice crispy cornicione with a good flavor too. The toppings were very good.
This is likely the most uncommon for any pizza for sale in Fairfield. That is true for many of the slices that are available here. Uncommon for Fairfield doesn’t mean uncommon for Italy. The variety of toppings on their pizzas. Remind me of one of the better pizzeria is I went to Lecce, Puglia this February. Pistachio is an uncommon topping on pizzas in America, but that’s not true in Italy.
As to the sandwich this was the best Italian sandwich that I’ve ever had in Fairfield. The bread was storemade tasty and crispy. There was a nice amount of Mortadella/Stracciatella/Arugula. This really reminded me of sandwiches I had in Italy that were ordered in the back of little gourmet shops or small family markets.
I think sandwiches in Italy are the secret of Italian food and it is rare for an American eatery to come close to. These guys go there!
So all I have to say is thank you for setting up shop. I look forward to having more of your slices and sandwiches. Whenever I come back from a trip to Italy, I know I can get good gelato and I can get good Italian dishes at different restaurants but pizzas like this and sandwiches like this I can’t get in Fairfield. Now I can and my longing for my next...
Read moreLiterally new new favorite place! You know when you have a sandwich and you can’t taste all of the ingredients or some over power others and then if just falls apart and it’s a big mess and you have to take it apart to eat it?!? This is the complete OPPOSITE. I find myself CRAVING this sandwich the last couple weeks where I’m getting it at leastttt twice a week. I’ve been ordering the ILL TACCHINO with avocado and extra aioli and it is - TO DIE FOR and SO unbelievably memorable. First of all, this bread is unmatched. It’s like a mix between a pizza crust and a snowflake roll with the dusty white power on it . All the ingredients taste super fresh . Down to the arugula, thinly sliced tomato and onion- the perfect ratio of turkey and provolone that perfectly fits the bill of the entire vibe of the sandwich and is what makes it so memorable. Along with the incredible aoili. It’s also super cute inside and the owner is sooo nice! I can’t wait to try more stuff. My suggestion is though while the word is out- call it in and pick it up because they are super busy...

We had some families over for a pre Halloween kick off and wanted something a little more elevated to offer the adults. I hadn’t been to Cosetta yet but could tell from their menu their food would be special (and omg yes it was!!!).
They didn’t have a catering menu / party tray type of offer, so I called and was so happy to speak with Ralph, who worked with me to create an amazing sandwich tray and pizza menu for the party. He really worked with me and went out of his way to ensure the details were right and that everything arrived perfectly.
Our guests LOVED the spread. People were talking about the sandwiches asking what it was on the menu so they could get it! As parents of young kids it was so nice to have something different than a standard pizza or Italian sandwich. Everything just had an elevated touch perfect for hosting. We will definitely be putting this in our rotation.
Big thanks for the incredible...
