Read moreI’m a regular customer here at jus salad. The food is always great and the staff is always friendly. Today I came in to grab some food and I seen the manager leyla harassing a staff member, and this staff member has great customer service, always polite, attentive, always greet me by name when I walk in and grab my lunch, shanae always make sure I have everything I need before I leave out. Today leyla was being unprofessional by harassing shanae in front of customers,I literally heard the entire conversation she was trying to have with shanae, while shanae was working. I think she should of waited till the end of shanae shift to confront her about any situation that had happened earlier in the day but instead she asked to speak with shanae while she’s working and shanae kindly told her no we talked about this already and I’m working right now. I watch your manager harass her to sign some papers and asked for shanae to leave which I felt it was unprofessional and inappropriate to do this in front of customers. One as a person who works in customer service you don’t confront employees in front of customers. I don’t know what her problem is but shanae is one of the best workers there. She makes me feel like I’m part of the jus salad family anytime I come in. Please handle that manager because nobody deserves to be harassed and embarrassed like...
Read moreI decided to try Just Salad last week when I was in the mood for salad. The store was about a 15 minute drive from my home in Southport CT. The salad was fantastic but the service was insanely slow. The workers seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed. We waited on line for well over 30 minutes and made progress on the line mostly by those in front of us giving up and leaving. Notwithstanding that horrible experience, I decided to try it out again today. Just to hedge, I ordered online to lessen the risk of a long wait once I arrived. I noticed an immediate difference in that there was a young woman in charge who was shouting out orders to the staff like a military operation, taking names of those who ordered online, making salads, instructing others, cleaning tables and asking patrons how they were enjoying their food. What a difference. I told the young woman how impressive she was and I learned that she was 25 years old and managed the store. What a work ethic. What a difference her presence in the store made. I learned her name was Leyla. She seemed more invested in the store than a franchise owner would be. I just hope that Just Salad appreciates her. I would hire her...
