I travel all over and Starbucks is my absolute favorite place to grab a drink. However, your Fairview location is truly doing your corporation a disservice. Every time I come here the same teenage girl in the drive thru gets my order wrong. I visited this coffee shop hoping for a relaxing drive thru experience, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I ordered a Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher with light ice. My order on the screen was accurate. When I get to the window I am informed their app scanner is not working. They offered to take my phone and scan it inside the store. I politely declined and advised that I would just come inside. Lets be honest, who gives a stranger their unlocked phone to walk away with? So I pulled around and just prepared to have my drink and maybe get a snack to sit inside instead. While the ambiance had potential — cozy lighting and a decent layout — it was completely overshadowed by the rude and dismissive attitude of the staff.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like an inconvenience rather than a customer. All of the servers behind the counter didn’t offer a greeting, barely made eye contact, and acted as if taking my order was a burden. Eventually, one younger lady comes over and says "you’re the Lemonade?" I looked at the drink and saw that it was a Strawberry Acai Lemonade. I advised the young girl about the mix up with the order, the response was curt. She then said “ well just take the free drink”. I told her no thank you, I wasn’t a fan of the Strawberry drink. From there, she slammed the cup back on the counter and went to making my correct order. It wasn’t just a bad day — it seemed like this kind of attitude was the norm.
To make matters worse, the Refresher took an unusually long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was handed off with a “sorry about that” in the most condescending tone, a half fake smile and a eye roll. After that interaction I took my drink and left. As I get down the road, my Summer Berry Lemonade is literally watered down. Like they put a bit a lemonade and coloring in the drink to make it look good. As bad as I wanted to turn around and go back to the store, I chalked it up as a "know better". I now know better to NOT patronize this store. I may be one customer, but if your staff keeps up this behavior soon it will be hundreds of customers. And from the other reviews on Google I can tell I am not the only customer that feels this way.
For a place in the hospitality business, the complete lack of courtesy was disappointing. I rarely leave negative reviews, but customer service is a huge part of the experience, and this shop fell far short. I hope the management addresses the issue, because the space itself has potential — it just needs a staff that actually wants...

Imagine walking into the store and discreetly asking the employee if she can unlock the bathroom and that employee tells the other employee to open the bathroom and that employee tells the other poor person to open the bathroom and that employee tell the other person to open the bathroom and the last employee tell the other person to come open the bathroom EXTREMELY Loud . they finally open the bathroom with me standing there with a full Store of customers? Read moreI placed an order through the app at 4:24 pm on 8 August. I didn't get my order, a sandwich, until 4:44 (details below). There wasn't anyone in line inside and the drive thru line wasn't busy with only 2-3 cars max during the 20 minutes I was waiting and the call in orders counter was only crowded with one drink and a cup of ice. I saw two people go in the back on break during the 20 minutes and it wasn't until I talked to a barista, they finally got on it. When the barista (black guy with a beard, approx 5’5) gave my sandwich to me, he threw it on my hand and didn't apologize at all and gave me discouraging/mean look. I placed a complaint with an online agent who gave me a $5 refund. I've been to this store before and been in line inside and they are not busy but the barista’s don't at least say, “Hello, Ill be with you...
