I have been looking for an amazing, authentic Peruvian spot for years in DFW. I was born and raised in Miami, FL where I’m been spoiled in my Peruvian cuisine needs. Now that I found Tayta, they can’t get rid of me. The ceviche was perfect!! The fish was fresh, the presentation was attractive, and the spice level was perfect. I can say the same thing for the causa (mashed potato with chicken salad). In fact, in was so good I’m writing this as I stuff myself with the beef chaufa. And I’m also waiting for a chicken combo to go. 11/10 stars.

Worth the drive - this place is 30 minutes from my house and totally worth the drive to eat here for Peruvian food. The best Peruvian food in Dallas right now (coming from a Peruvian herself). 10/10 please come and taste it it is fresh and also the portions are very good so if you order 2-3 plates it’s big enough to share amongst 2-3 people!

Buenazo!

As a Peruvian living in Dallas, I was so excited to try Tayta—and it truly felt like a trip back home! My friend was visiting, and we were both impressed by the variety on the menu—it’s full of authentic Peruvian favorites you don’t often find in the U.S. The owner personally came to our table to greet us and ask for feedback, which we really appreciated. He was so friendly and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert that completely made our day! We tried the pork tamale, which was really tasty with a generous portion of pork, and the ceviche—while it’s hard to match the flavor of Peruvian ceviche abroad, the quality and freshness were great. The pan con salchicha huachana with French bread was amazing, just like back...

4 stars cause we went couple days ago and my family and I are originally from Peru so our expectations were pretty high. Food was great, it was very good, combo Marino and pollo a la brasa 10/10. What we didn’t like at all was the place it’s located at. The whole concept is kinda weird, there are “servers” that never go up to your table or check on you. You gotta order through their app and it charges you ahead of time before the food arrives, also, it charges you 18% tip added to the bill, a robot brings up your food. It wasn’t a Peruvian concept at all. The food is amazing but the...
