Burlington — Local services in Middletown Township

Yesterday 12/7/24 i visited burlington in Langhorn PA and it was the worst i went in only for a few items and stud in line the long line Patiently. At the front of the line now and and the system told me to go to counter 4 Right after the system also said count to 6. here I am guessing that 6 was for the person behind me. I proceeded to counter four where the lady at that counter walked off and went and helped her employee at counter 3 with her computer.. She was there for quite a while and did not even acknowledge me. I then said excuse me and kept trying to ask them and when i say them i mean the lady at couter 5 and 3 and the customers, trying to get someone attention If there would be someone at this register because by this time, counter 6 had already called for another customer. But they all looked at me like they were so confused or i was speaking another language that they didn’t understand. I felt as if i was nonexistent, I felt like I was in some type of movie that I had to open my mouth loud to get people attention, which is beyond my demeanor. it was then the same lady who was at that counter, turned around and told me oh I already clocked out. I said to her well, it would’ve been nice if you told me that when I’ve been trying to get your attention she then went on and said well it’s the automated system. How would I know that I said to her. And repeated herself well i already clocked out. Is this the way to threat customers .please tell me why the only black person in the store had to be treated this way and yes, I am bringing Race into it because after saying hellloooo so loud to get their attention i had to ask them why do i have to reach this point for you all to say is only my kind have to be so rude. By speaking out??Lol guess what ? A SMART fool did just what i asked. She said its always your kind that have to be so rude and impatient 😳. I guess i should of stood there untill she clocked back in. We are all humans, treat others the way you want...

I went to this location a week before Christmas and they had alot to offer. I got the exact vanity mirror that would have cost me so much more on Amazon or at Ulta. They have lots of shoes, accessories, makeup, face, hair and nail stuff. The pictures show most of what I bought. I went to the clearance and bathroom section and as you can see I bought a vanity to old some decorative cups normally used for brushing your teeth. I bought different cups and created a cute gift for my daughter. I wrapped each product and placed them inside the vanity or cups for her to open. She loves it! Men's section was fully stocked. Their clearance section was packed with amazing items so I spent the most on clearance stuff which turned out to be amazing gifts. Baby and Kids section was stocked well overall. Their home decor was absolutely amazing as well! I love this store and always find...

So on this evening 12/11/24 I came to this store at 10:40pm with my husband to be greeted by a Caucasian female with very short reddish hair. This lady informed us “you have to be very fast because I’m closing the doors in 5 mins”. I told the lady that the store states that it closes at 11pm and begins to say “yes and I’m closing the doors in 5 mins”. I immediately left with my husband because this store does not deserve my time nor money if they have the practice of closing the door on the public before the time stated online and the door! Or maybe it’s because I’m a woman of color?? Would she have done this to someone that looks like her?? My sister does the accounting books for Burlington and I’m just appalled by this lady’s action. Is she aware that it’s the holidays and people are doing last minute shopping??? Horrible...
